just out of curiousity, what figures of the classics ( all of the new molds )line are considered to be worth the most, or have the highest asking price?

Ratchet, Ironhide, and Optimus Prime are up there.

Pretty sure Magnus is the most expensive one though.

 

Henkei Smokescreen, Ratchet, and Ultra Magnus are pretty expensive ones from the top of my head.

 

Henkei Cyclonus is another. Gotta love lavender lol.

That's ironic to me since that's the only mold I prefer Hasbro over Takara in the entire line.

Magnus is probably the most expensive that I've seen, along with probably Smokescreen, Ironhide, Ratchet, and probably Ramjet.

I understand a lot of folks like the City Commander set, but I can't understand how it still drives the prices for Ultra Magnus up so high - I'd have thought demand for the toy would have died down a little at least. I'd really like an Ultra Magnus, but not at the going rates.

 

City Commander got a re-release, suddenly tons more people need a Magnus, prices go up. These prices on Magnus are some of the highest I've ever seen.

 

Hell, even the Titanium G1 Magnus is out of control.... I almost had one at $50, but got sniped...grrr

 

I think Ironhide and Ratchet are topping it out, as far as non-exclusives go.

 

I have misb Ramjet and Classics voyager prime, and I ALWAYS open, but stuff like this, has made me keep them sealed, and Im quite saddened by that

 

If we're throwing in Henkei as well, .i think Inferno is a candidate.

 

$200 for Henkei Ratchet = WTF.

He's expensive but not that expensive. Around $80 before shipping IIRC.

 

I don't know if the OP was mostly concerned about mainline releases or exclusives, since exclusives will almost always fetch a mean price. P/CP is always been ridiculously expensive in the secondary market. United Stepper isn't hard to find, but I think because the initial price tag is a bit hard more most of us to swallow.

And I have a feeling the Battlechargers are gonna fetch a hard price too.

Annoying tough to find and expensive when you do. Even the Universe deco ispretty expensive for the few that come up. I myself was so annoyed I eventually skipped on him when I found another BIG want on my list, for WAY less hassle (Electro Disruptor Ligier- an exclusive of all things!)

Ill tell ya this too Hardhead goes for big bucks since the Headrobots upgrade
