I've been out of the loop for a while. Has any news surfaced about this?

It's not likely, at least in the near future

They could do it somewhat easily if they were to manipulate the leader class figure. Ditch the electronics, modify the transformation to make the bot modea little bit more compact on the back, and get the upper hip wheels able to sit flush against the hips (which wouldn't be hard at all, and I don't know why they didn't make it so), they COULD make a HA prime fairly easily.

Haven't heard anything. Hope they do though. Hopefully for TF3.

It wouldn't fit in the Human Alliance size class, and it'd be bigger than Leader class. So I'd say it's unlikely.

It'd probably have to be put under Ultimate/Supreme class for it to happen. The problem there is they only do one of those per year, and lately it seems they like to cut a lot of corners in that class.

If the concept were implemented into a Masterpiece figure, perhaps.

Otherwise, we're not getting one anytime soon.

I say the chances of a ginormous Optimus are great. They've already made Ultimate Bumblebee twice. We're due for an Optimus that's even bigger than the Leader class ones they've released.

Very unlikely. If they kept it all in scale with the rest of the human alliance line, it'd be freaking huge and would cost an arm and a leg. People have been wanting a HA Ironhide and THAT would be about leader class size. So Prime would be even bigger. HA Ironhide, Ratchet, and Prime are extremely unlikely, unless they went with a smaller scale that doesn't fit the previous HA figures.

I think they should consider releasing Human Alliance figures in some of the other size classes. Since everything in the current HA line is designed to sell at the same pricepoint, it'd be a way to include bigger figures without having to sacrifice scale.

Sticking a Human Alliance Ironhide in with leader class would be a lot less redundant than doing yet another Bumblebee(the rumoured Leader class BB).

Maybe I'm wrong...but isn't leader class prime pretty much in scale with the HA figures...I know it looks pretty close to me on my shelves in vehicle mode.

What's the point!? Isn't that what the Leader Class is for? Unless you want it to be called Supreme Class....

This is also what I'd like to see as there's plenty of room for improvement on the ROTF Leader Class which IMO is extremely overrated.
