I have Classics Megatron, Battle Blades Prime, Battle Ops BumbleBee and Cybetron Supreme Class Starscream on my desk, (in addition to a bunch of random comic/cartoon characters like He-Man, Snake Eyes, Wolverine, Batman, etc).
But I'm a graphic designer so we get away with having tons of goofy shit on our desks.

This, without a doubt. My desk at work has Prime, Megs and Starscream battling it out.

At home: my Igear "Delicate Warrior" Arcee just came in and this thing has CRAZY amounts of articulation. If you can stomach the cost of this deluxe size fig, you'll discover it's a fantastic figure to fiddle with.

Get yourself the WST Dinobots and Shockwave.

    Cheap and fun desk fodder.

I keep a set of PE-11, Generations Wheeljack, and most recently Hasbro MP Hotrod. Everyone love PE-11 especially since i fool with them constantly to make them look like they are missioning across my desk.

This is along one side of my cubicle:

I also have all of the Animated Activators in a drawer, MP Skywarp, 25th Anniversary Optimus and Trailer.

Non-Transformers I have a few different puzzles(Rubik's 360, Rubik's Magic, Sliding Number Puzzle) and things(Rubik's Snake, some other thing) that are good to fidget with when I am stuck on a phone call.

Ultimate Optimus Prime and Fortress Maximus.

Any deluxe will do, Crankcase is one of my favorites. The smaller voyagers like Shockwave are good too. And if you can't find a spot for your leader class Optimus Prime, the Battle Blades version is practically a carbon copy of him.

I usually keep smaller toys that are easy to fiddle with, but I do have a couple of deluxes and HFTD Leader Op in alt mode hanging out as well. Most Scouts are good and I would also agree with the Legends/Cyberverse comments.

Well I'm too young to have a job but at my computer desk at home I keep my whole Cyberverse collection (all the wave 1 commanders, blackout, and about 4 legion class figures), HA Jazz, and deluxe DOTM Topspin and Bumblebee, so much fun to fplay around with :D

I used to keep simpler deluxes on my desk. Classics Bumblebee was my favorite.

I don't recommend anything bigger than deluxes. Currently, my desk has motorcycles of all sorts strewn across it (TFTM Arcee, ROTF Knock Out and Reverb, TFA Prowl, HFTD Brimstone, and RTS Wreck-Gar), and they look rather nice.

I have only a g1 reissue bluestreak on my desk right now, but i like the idea of alternity/binaltech/alt guys b/c they work on 2 levels: transformers and really cool realistic cars.
