I was just wondering what you think the chances of an add-on for FOC Bruticus are. I think it's fairly likely.

If I were a betting man I would bet on Yes, and everything I got on it.

I don't see it as an if, I see it as a when.

I'm hoping for it, but all of the big 3rd party groups seem to have A LOT on their plate these days, so we may be in for a long long wait.

If people keep asking for it, it'll happen.

Well the only group I can think of off the top of my head that makes upgrades is FP, and they did Bruticus already...

Doubtful... Too many color variations on the mold. So you won't make everyone happy. The SDCC guys will definately be out in the cold, that is the most limited of stock.

I don't think so. The retail release of Onslaught is more screen accurate than the SDCC version. Perhaps an upgrade set made to fit the main release will make the SDCC version more colour accurate.

Although getting a voyager Onslaught with Bruticus hands and feet will be the way to go so you please the majority of owners.

The set would need to include 5 new figures to save it.

I agree, with the qualification I don't see MakeToys or TFC or Fansproject doing it. They're all into their own things now. I see this as an opportunity for a new 3rd party player to break out and make a name for themselves. I'm fairly sure it will happen.

I suppose it depends where FP is with their Menasor project...they could always come late to the party, but I think they better strike while it is hot with the game coming out tomorrow. I think FP is the most likely and preferred company to do this and do it right

This is actually a good point Dr.T. The big boys of the 3rd Party crowd have a TON of stuff on their plates at the moment.

I agree. TFC and FP seem to be treating full figures as a batch of honor and they can't be bothered with upgrade sets for now. Sad but true.

I think one of our very own radicons may try something on shapeways. With U.F.O. and Xtransbots taking a really close look at the designs.

I don't think three is too many, remember the Superion upgrade set? They did two colorings of that, one more doesn't seem to much worse. I really hope they do the G2 version, as that's the cheapest and I like the colors the most (it's also the one I'm getting as I just preordered from bbts yesterday!:D ).

    Oh, there'll be a FOC Bruticus add-on

The question is what the add-on will be. A lot of people seem to think its going to be a new figure. Yeah, that's a chance, I suppose

A low chance. Calling it now, the addon will be weapons

Junkion Blacksmith gets my vote. They did a great job with the Power of Destruction upgrade for G1 Devs.

Someone suggested previously that the upgrade parts should fit together and form a trailer for Onslaught like the FP parts. That seems to make the most sense to me.

I think some one like crazy devy or dr wu might make some new hands and weapons. Or maybe a new brute head with led light or maybe a swindle head

I just don't understand why so many people still bought the FOC Bruticus when the FP Bruticus is already 10x better than it? In all honesty I felt like hasbro should have just scrapped the project because if people are already wanting add-on's for the FOC Brut that is just a sign of poor design and rushed development.
