I've been hearing about them for a while. (Mostly from The Internet Personality Vange1us.) And wondered what exactly they were, how they worked, and would they help me add detail to my collection? Are there downsides?

Gundam Markers are essentially a special kind of lining marker that are intended to help in blacklining panel lines on Gundam kits. These have found use for that same purpose with custom TF's.

Go visit the Gundam thread in the toyark. There are some serious Gundam kit builders there who can probably be more help than I can.

They're paint markers. Nothing complicated about it. Basically a painting tool for beginners to customizing.

Gundam Pens (what Autobot Burnout mentioned) are the same thing, but pens made for panel lining and there are even certain ones that you can use to mimic a wash effect (a brush tip Gundam Pen).

They're alright for touches and details, but I wouldn't use them for anything beyond that.
