What are folks thoughts on using maroon voyager TRU cybertron starscream as thrust?

    the maroon colored guy:

Figure the galaxy force screamer for starscream..maroon screamer for thrust and then the dirge from universe ....so far three of the three original seekers in their cybertron jet forms anyway...

I think it kind of works... some people seem to do that. I wish the release of that mold wasn't so limited in the US. Would be nice to get a whole set but I hate these half sets we keep getting.

That's what I've been doing for quite awhile now, although he's currently just a placeholder until Generations Thrust comes out.

i don't see them redoing the other three seekers with this mold...and the reddish maroon is more fitting to thrust than ramjet in my opinion ...since there is no white at all on him,

It works. Although if you're good at customizing, try making a vaguely cone-shaped head if you want even more of a G1 feel to it.

It looks a lot like the Titanium Thrust that was released a while back with those colours, so it's as good a fit as any toy.

The main thing is, if you feel he fits the role of Thrust, then that's all that matters to you.

You might want to check out the Titanium Thundercracker and Skywarp, they're similar designs to the Cybertron Starscream and are some of the best engineered toys in that line. Then all you'd be short would be Ramjet, if having two at a slightly different scale / design didn't bother you.

I see him working as Thrust. Heck, he doesn't look too different from the Legends Thrust we got from the Universe 2.0 line.

This is my cybertronium seeker lineup.

    Starscream - Titanium Starscream
    Skywarp - Titanium Skywarp
    Thundercracker - Titanium Thundercracker
    Thrust - TRU Cybertron Starscream
    Ramjet - Galaxy Force Starscream
    Dirge - Universe Dirge

    Sunstorm - Titanium Sunstorm

All the main seekers are titanium and all the coneheads are Cybertron mold. Poor Titanium Thrust is kicked to the curb.

I love that idea, especially with the size difference. Thrust and Dirge were dumb muscle and raw power for me, while Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp were more about finesse and dogfighting.

I think it works pretty well, actually.

It works for me. I wouldn't mind getting the rest of the seekers done in this mold. What do they have against the seekers all being released in same mold anyways?

Yup, I think it works well. While I'm generally not big on re-naming figures, this is one case where it makes sooo much more sense to call him Thrust than Starscream. I say go for it.

Heck, the TFCC should sneak in a repurposing somewhere to make it semi-official. Goodness knows they've done it with other figures.

Personally, I think Botcon should have repainted this mold as G2 Jhiaxus.
