Anywho, watching Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation tonight. I always find the first two episodes a cringy amount of fanserivce(not that fanservice), but the rest is great once it picks up. This strange love for Yellow Heart has seemingly come out of nowhere too and I'm wholly okay with it.

There isn't a lot of good fanart of her though. :/

 

Marathoned Big Order.........how to describe it oh yeah


It's like riding a train you know is about to crash. Every fiber of your being tells you to get your ass off but your just like "eh let's see how this plays out". When the train finally crashes your just like well that wasn't worth it.

Also watched the TO movie and Vexille. They were okay, wouldn't watch again for various reasons like really weird CG movements.

I can't tell if it's just because Big Order left me in an incredibly foul mood, but Aho Girl is really grating on my nerves right about now. Welp back to .hack/sign.

 

I'm more of an Iris Heart & Noire fan. I've been meaning to rewatch that.
Started Campione, doesn't seem that bad 1 episode in...Getting the feeling that the MC will be stupidly powerful though...

 

I decided to watch Gamers it just seems right up my alley.

At first I liker Noire and Blanc, but I think I've come to love all the CPUs, even Cyan Heart because she's just so batshit crazy. Everyone of them is fun in their own way, and if I had to choose I would put my faith in all four as a team rather then one and their nation.

 

Watching Gundam Wing.

Haven't watched it since Toonami so debating whether or not to get the upcoming Bluray set.

Gamers! is hilarious, I usually burst out laughing a couple times per episode.

as for Shana, it just depends on your taste. It's a 24ep/3 seasons series. Since I'm not a big fan of tsundere characters, I got to about episode 13 before I just gave up on it. There's action, romance, drama? comedy, supernatural stuff in it, but it's really just up to you.

 

After 16 years spirited away has been beat as no 1 movie of all time in japan! Your name has passed it!

 

Finished Angel Beats and I never shed a tear. I was more shocked by the revelation at the end. But I am confused about the after credits scene. I get it was Tachibana and Otanashi, were they the same people or not if not how did Kanade know the tune she was humming.

 

Binge watched all twelve episodes of Attack on Titan Junior High last night. I needed my AOT fix while waiting for Season 3 and I'm so glad my curiosity won over that was very funny! Chibi Mikasa, Annie, and Sasha are to cute   It seemed like everyone's personalities or quirks I should say were amplified by ten.

 

Kancolle The Movie: So, the whole movie is basically about canonizing this piece of fanon that has been existed forever, and, well, little else.
You get a reveal early on,they discuss it, there's a clear solution and then... it's just a long checklist for ship cameos and a prolonged fight scene.
The animation is so much better of course, but there's really no sense of scale when it comes to the Abyssal Fllet, just like the series, so it's hard to feel any progress.
I liked the silly antics of Kancolle much better than the serious stuff, so I guess it wasn't aimed at me anyways.
Also, animated foreign ships when?
It did remind me of that elephant pun from the series I inexplicably love, so there's that.

Girls und Panzer: Watched this months ago, but I'm pretty sure I never wrote my thoughts down.
It's actually pretty fun, it's about girls riding tanks, but as far as "cute girls doing x" shows go, it focuses far more on the X than the girls.
The battles are inspired by real life encounters, so they do feel like you are watching proper war machines, but it also knows when to go over the top, since here the tank battles are a sport, not warfare.
It does drive me insane when I stop to think how this can be considered safe and how nobody has died yet, but I get the feeling you are not meant to dwell on that.
If i were to nitpick, then sure, the cast is nothing special and battles often feel like one side is sabotaging itself, but it's more fun than not.

Girls und Panzer OVA: Quite possibly the best example of one side sabotaging itself, but simultaneously one of the most entertaining matches, plus Duce and her school are just so much fun in general.
