as much as people man not like to hear this but a Transformers movie without Humans would be a bad idea, no humans equals no sense of scale, which equals no awe factor, and it gets turned into just a sci-fi war movie, Which was my biggest grip with War for Cybertron, it was just runnin gunnin transformable soldiers.
but by now the public is more then aware of how tall the autobots are and the awe factor would be how small they are compared so of the other transformers from cybertron
I always had this idea were the autobots go and search distant planets and meet creatures roughly the size of humans. Very similar to how they did some episodes in the 3rd season of the G1 cartoon. But you still need some sort of human factor for the hollywood movies.
No it wouldn't, the general public won't see a film that has absolutley no human characters. People like to see films where they can relate or sypathise with the characters. Remember how badly the Final Fantasy movie did, that even had human characters! I also had the same problem with WFC, no sence of scale at all. That's one of the main reasons why Transformers are so cool, as well all that Transforming into cool cars gubbings.
These ideas are awful, I mean, it takes 38 hours to render a frame of 3 robots on the screen at once so imagine if they had to render the same amount of robots ON a CGI rendered setting. It would take forever to complete the movie. Also, we have the movie prequel comics which easily depict any events before the movie, including how Optimus and Megatron became enemies among other things. Besides, all this could be depicted in a simple flashback.
