I was just watching the movie tonight and it hit me. Why didn't anybody think something was up with the fact there was no paperwork on Bumblebee. If I were Sam's dad and had just paid $4,000 for a car, I'd want to fill out all the necessary title transfer paperwork. Since Bumblebee was not a real car or even on Bobby B's lot, he wouldn't have had any. Therefore Sam couldn't get tags or anything else. Why didn't this throw up a red flag?

    is that really necessary?

if your idea of watching a dad fill out paper work and sitting inside bolivia's office to pay for that car and all that is your idea of entertainment, they might as well find another director.

The movie is already 2 hours and 20 minutes long. If they add a paperwork scene, they might as well add 40 more minutes worth of useless scenes.

These are things that NEED to be overlooked so that the movie can work otherwise the movie will drag on and then let the fanboys make up their own theories.

It's not about seeing them doing the paperwork, it's more about the fact where those papers should come from... missing papers could easily mean a stolen car.

Ok, perhaps he faked them... but the question is reasonable.

I wondered this as well. Then I just enjoyed the movie and didn't worry about it.

Bobby KNEW that he had no idea where the car came from. But when every other car in the lot blew up, im sure he would sell bj's if he had to make a buck

I'm not talking about the scene. There couldn't be a scene because Bobby didn't have any paperwork for Bumblebee to start with. Why did they drive off with the car when there was no paperwork. I'm not complaining that there should have been a paperwork scene. Just pointing out that logically there shouldn't have been any paperwork to do and that should've been noticed.

He was a shady car dealer anyway. You just file it under a non titled vehicle with the state

Bingo. Last I checked dodgy used car salesmen (who are hated by their own family) aren’t known for their astute business practices. Besides I'd be more concerned with the police/army/navy /air force not noticing they suddenly have a jet/tank/helicopter that no one enters or leaves that just takes off to do its own shit.

we're talking about a shady car dealer who has a zoo on the lot with freaking ostriches, if that isn't dodgy, I dunno what is. Anything could've happened
