I love the Lost Planet Demo, and I'm really looking forward to Gears of War and more LIVE content, specifically from SNK and Capcom.
I thought it was great too; especially the first level, with the Starship Troopers feel. Cool weapons, great animation and visuals, blasting the hell out of swarming bugs...I was really, really impressed for a game I had heard nothing about. When I was able to get into the mech to fight the bugs I was all 'hell yeah'. But when I got out and ripped the gun off one of it's arms and used it...I knew I was going to buy. Being able to snap direction 90 degrees is a great addition to a game like this. Too bad we have to wait till the new year. Overall 360 had a strong E3. Gears Of War Mass Effect Bioshock Halo 3 Dead Rising ...and rumors that Assasin's Creed will in fact come to 360. I think I'm pretty happy with what's coming.
they should try to fix their Japan issues: http://ds.qj.net/DS-Lite-trade-in-value-more-than-Xbox-360-in-Japan/pg/49/aid/45819
Unconfirmed HD-DVD pics. http://www.xfm.net/posts/320 I assumed it would mount to the 360 like the CD did on the Sega. But if the cable is long enough I guess it's nice that you can put it other places
I just wish they'd have at least tried to, you know, make it look like the 360 from the angle where it was being fed DVD's
This goes in the USB Slot?? What happens to the wireless adapter Me too. Some will laugh at the thought of playing a 10 yr old game on a current console, but for me MK3 can't appear on XBox Live Arcade soon enough.
I got to play the Lost Planet demo at a friend's house last night. I am completely in love. I will definitely get a 360! ...after I get a Wii
I'm not sure if they can. They made it smaller and sleeker. They are doing all they can to draft Japanese developers. It may simply be that the bias in Japan is too much to overcome. Still, we saw the XB come in 2nd this generation, despite dismal sales in Japan. If it manages to trump Sony in either North America or Europe, it could end up besting Sony regardless of Japan.
Mistwalker is making a game that I hope can change Japanese opinion of the console, called "Blue Dragon". The core design team behind it is the combined forces of the original creators of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, waaaay back when they were both still good (DQ still is, generally). Incidentally, that also makes it the same team-up that gave us Chrono Trigger. Judge for yourself the potential that has for total awesomeness.
Just got the "Lost Planet" demo as well. Highly entertaining game so far. The gameplay is what the 3D Contra's should've been like. The bug level definately reminded me of "Starship Troopers."
