    Three words, Live, Action, show

It might work, it's possible. If they can pull it off right it would be so kick ass.

Not to mention it's based off of the Movie-verse continuity, that means we can go more in depth with character development.

If that doesn't work out what about a cartoon thats animated in the same style like beastwars, but with the current up-to-date CG rendering technology we developed.

Cartoon. Yeah. Live-action would cost just too much.

Though I would love to see an animated movie (possibly prequel about the war on Cybertron), since we have three years until the next movie. It'd finally give us character development and the human/military element would be greatly reduced.

I think that sounds like the worst possible thing that could become of a new Transformers tv series.

    Sorry to say and all.

A Beast Wars-esque CG show, yes. Movie continuity, no.

I mean an animated cartoon based in the movie-verse continuity done in a CG fashion similar to shows today.

That'd certainly be much more preferable than a live show, but still, I'd rather a TV show stay away from the movie-verse. Unless it's 100% about the bots, and Skids and Mudflap are absent.

You have to have the Twins. It's too late to not-have them in this continuity. I could see just each episode NEST and the Autobots hunting down Decepticons all over the world, with Megatron and Starscream just as background characters. The cartoon can lead up right to the third movie! It would be perfect!

Gah, no, no, no. We don't need a show about the military guys. We don't need a show with the retardobots. And why would you want Megatron and Starscream as BACKGROUND characters? This is a joke, right? You're kidding...right?

question would the cost of making the Live Action show translate to an increase in the toy prices?

Maybe they can bridge the two-year gap between the first and second movie? Now that would be entertaining!

    Exactly!

The Decepticons were mainly background characters for the first two seasons of TFA, maybe every few episodes focus on Megatron and Starscream plotting, that plotting will lead up to the plot of TF3.

But Megatron and Starscream are all the movie Decepticons have left, besides Soundwave. If you relegate them to the background, and the series is post RotF, there's nothing there.

TFA led up to something. Those were also the first Decepticons the Autobots had encountered, there was a reason they appeared that way throughout the first season. If this is movieverse, the cat is out of the bag. You can't take one of the only good things about the movie and lose that.

Well, there's always a comic book series. I hope they (IDW) do something like Reign of Starscream, which is freaking amazing.

I don't know if the Decepticons weren't toughened up a great deal for the series so every week wasn't just a big pile of dead Decepticons I think the show would get kind of boring after a while.
