Hey guys. I've been given permission to show photos here of a project I've been working on with a third party group. Its for a WFC trailer accurate War Axe, for WFC Prime. Below are photos of the first prototype. At the moment, the blades are not translucent. I am still prepping the axe, so I can do some color castings for sample use. So the next photos will be of the axe in color, with translucent orange blades. Design wise, this is as close as I could get to what was shown in the trailer. I did make some minor changes to help make parts be stronger, when they go into production. I'm also working on a WFC style Ion Blaster, and other weapons. We can never have enough axes.  

Full details are still being worked out, so I can't spill all the beens. The plan is for this to be released through online retailers. The purpose of this thread is just to show the progress on this axe. The group that is behind this will make full announcements when they are ready. So please don't ask about preorders, as I'm just the designer for this project.

Please note, the sword and ion blaster are from my Classics Prime and Megatron sets. I just thought it'd be cool to show them off with WFC Prime.

very nice work! I've been weighting for the pics of these weapons to be shown for a while now, good job so far. Are you planning on doing Bumblebee's Sword also? I really hope so cause I gotta have that piece, and I want these too, keep up the good work.

 

Hopefully these won't have the massive price tag of the TAW godsword.

If they are somewhat ok I will probably have my prime dual weilding these bad boys.

Thanks! The 3rd party group commissioning me for this is planning a retail release at online stores. Should be cheaper than me resin casting these in a limited quantity.

Awesome, and I'd definately be interested in this! Will Megatron get a similiar kit, to give him his mace?

 

Like I said in the original post, a 3rd party group is planning to release it. If things fall apart with their plans for the release, the designs come back to me, and I'll look into making resin castings.
