it's been done before, but i've recoored wfc soundwave to look like soundblaster. this is my first repaint.
That mold looks really good in black and red. But some advice from another inexperienced customizer, take your time when painting. Your lines are quite messy and there are a quite a few places you missed. It's really helped me to check the radicon tutorials. I still give this my thumbs up though.
This is un-related and kind of stupid on my part, but I am trying to figure out how to post on this section of the site with images attachment. Any help from any one will be appreciated. I figure I asked you since you are new too.
yeah, this was just a minor thing for a colors test, really. i'm doing a sanding and such for my next repaint: wfc megatron.
first, you hover over the radicons section of the top bar, then you go over to minor/repaint or heavy customs. once at the section you want, go to "new thread" and i'm sure you can figure it out from there
yeah, i'm aware of how to make it red, i just haven't been able to aquire future finish so i could not get it to be transluscent.
The painting needs work, but here are some tips: Prime the figure before paint. Since Soundblaster is mostly black, you can prime him using a can of Krylon Black Camo. If you do this properly, your brush paint will go on smoothly. And yes, taking your time is key. Also, apply THIN coats of paint and wait a good while before subsequent coats. Do you have different sized brushes? Might I suggest smaller ones for fine details?
