    I did this custom a while back. It is a complete repaint of WFC Soundwave and I also made a scratch-built Laserbeak.

    Soundwave was completely disassembled and painted using 3 different shades of blue. I painted the inside of his chest panel in pearlescent purple to give it a glowing effect. Then I weathered the hell out of him by doing a black wash.

    Laserbeak was made from:
    Body=back of the chest plate from RID Prowl
    Jetpack= Engine piece from Classics Sideswipe
    Legs= Claw from some random figure
    Guns= From Energon Clocker
    Head= Foot/claw from Energon Battle Ravage
    Wings= Spoiler from KO Alternator Wheeljack

    I started with the body piece and thought this would make a perfect laserbeak. I painted it red and then I cut the outer pieces off of the BR claw so I had just the middle. I attached it using glue and a little molding epoxy then I sanded it down until it looked good to me. I filled in the underside of the engine part and painted it black and the attached the guns to the sides. I then cut the spoiler down so it would look more like wings. The feet were trimmed down and left black as was his head. I used a piece of yellow electrical tape on top of his head and a very tiny decepticon symbol just behind that. He is my first ever, entirely scratch-built piece.

    C&C Welcome.

    Thank you very much. My only regret with Laserbeak is that he doesn't transform.
