This is version 2. I went for more damage, more sinister paint apps, and more highlights. He's meant for posing only so no alt mode guys. Removed his back (hood) and mounted it on his arm (removable via a magnet) as a shield.

I think the grill on his shield needs something spiky. And if your not going to transform him......
    Digging the battle damage.

Cool stuff. I like the choice to have his shoulder guards up. Makes him look far more imposing.

Excellent work! Your paint apps are always great and you really made this guy pop and look menacing. I also dig the shield and I'm not a huge fan of that alt mode anyway, so this definitely works.

When I saw that first pic I thought, "Why did he put 2D art in the Radicons section?" I don't know if it's your paint style or your photography or a combination of both, but these pics look like comic panels which is really, really nice. Is it the contrast? I love the way this looks.
Anyway that's a killer paint job. It looks so pro. Will it not transform or do you just have no plans to? I could see leaving it like this on the shelf forever:)  Putting the shoulder pieces up like that makes it look other-worldly which just adds to the appearance. There's mystery and danger in these pics.

    Nice work!

I'm not big on black prime repaints usually, but this one shows some serious moxie! I love the purple and dull, dinged up finish. Makes him look like a nasty customer! Well done sir!

    Thanks :D

Thanks Randy, I was thinking about painting a glow effect but then I thought as a shield, it wouldn't really have that as it's not under power. The spikes sound cool though.

Thanks guys! I also prefer to leave his shoulder pads up like this, I think it looks way better then when they are down.

Good to hear from you man, thanks!

Thank you for this awesome comment! The pics were taken using daylight white bulbs with no flash. The purple apps are done with regular purple, then a mix of that purple with a touch of midnight blue, and then a third layer of light purple to accent for highlights. It may be because of that, that he appears to have a comic appearance.

As far as T-Forming him...I won't. He was painted to transform but I have a hard time with this particular figure transforming so I won't even bother. Thanks for a great comment man!

Thanks guys!! The feedback is always really appreciated!

Thanks guys! The shield was a really simple mod too do as well and I can see it working with transformation as well if one was to make their own and transformable.

Thanks, custom mix of dark gray, blue, and some white.

Thanks guys! L_H, thanks for noticing that in the paint apps. It's much more apparent in person :D

    Thanks!!
