So yes, I shelved this character about a year and a half ago (I honestly didn't know that much time had passed). Mainly due to finding the right neck assembly for the head I was going to use. That mixed with the usual "I can't be bothered--oh look, ANOTHER project!" problem I tend to hit. But finally, I have gotten it done.

This is Read Out, a character based on my War For Cybertron multiplayer scout's paint scheme. The head is a recast head from the Botcon Exclusive Viper twins Shadow Striker and Roulette. I took the head I cast, cut away the antennae panel things, then dremmeled away her chin strap. Reshaped her chin, made a neck assembly that would work for the Arcee toy, and bam'n'stuff.

Hard to see in these shots, but I painted the under section of her chest in blue to help break up the green a bit more.

    And vehicle mode. :)

I kept debating putting some kind of spoiler to cover her hands in vehicle mode (which I know bothers some--but the look and design of her hands don't bother me at all). I just never really could find anything that would work and be something I could detach as a weapon or whatever. I played with the idea of mounting something permanent, but it never really came about. Maybe some day in the future I'll come up with a solution. (like a shield for robot mode that 'caps' over the arms in car mode? Have to look into that...)

Okay, so somewhere in Radicons is an old WIP thread I started for this custom. One thing I withheld was my plans to fill in all her tech lines WFC style. :)  It was helpful that the head I chose to use had some line detail I could fill in to make it all blend.

And, to make it all work properly, the tech lines are fluorescent.

its so awesome that an animated figure (with some changes) can easily fit into so many different lines. Great job on this gal(?)

Haha! Yes, it's a femme-bot. Glad you guys like how she turned out. I definitely waited too long to finish her up--even though FOC is coming out it won't be until later this year, and I think the WFC buzz has worn off quite a bit. At least, until FOC.

Still, I'm proud of her. Not many femmes in the line to begin with, so this helps add one more to my ranks. :)

Nice job!! Original characters are my favorites, but to take the animated toy to a totally different series takes some skill, and I think you pulled it off quite well. The head is great and I fits well on the mold. The vehicle mode looks awesome, very WFC. I also like how there're so many different colors in bot mode, but really only a couple for alt mode. Makes me wish I had the patience to try stuff like this...
