Looking great so far, man. Love the details and the overall paint apps on this. Now it looks awesome, as opposed to some sort of cheap plastic looking KO. lol

    its really simple
    just called dry brushing.
im sure theres a tutorial on here. but all u do like for this case, is paint the base black. then get ur brush, put silver on it and wipe off as much as u can with a towel or napkin, then brush it on.

    Thanks guys!

This is how I learned and then my skill progressed with every custom thereafter :)

Check this video out: YouTube - How To Custom Paint Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Ravage rotf

I don't know who the painter is but it's a really helpful video.

    Yep.

Thanks man, red is a tough color to get what you want out of it to show the way you want it to (say that 3 times fast lol). It's clean right now but it'll roughen up soon.

Thanks man, really appreciate the comments!

Based on your work so far, I think your customer is going to be very happy with little "touches" you've given Optimus. Great looking "metal finish". :thumb

The metal finish looks fantastic, he looks like he's becoming more of a statue than a toy. Nice one. :)
