have been seeing some WFC OP custom here(Fluorescent WFC OP, WFC OP with Light...)

War For Cybertron, since this series is futuristic, i am trying to create the "Glowing Line" light effect to match the theme.

i just want to try out some different lighting effect.

Nothing special to make this, i just use black color paint to mask the inside chest and put 2 red LED to "Glow" up the thin line. here are some bot pictures, the truck picture will upload this weekend...

pretty cool! Any way you can dim the LED, or fill in the cracks around the head so it's not so overbearing out the bottom of his face??

love the way you brought out his glow though!

Are those 1.6mm or 3mm LEDs in the head? Nice work.

That looks nice. If you want to reduce the light bleed through on the head try painting the inside of the head black.

Wow, that looks great! I second Hakka's suggestion- a couple of layers of black paint on the inside of the figure will block some of the extra light.
Any chance of posting a pic of the inside of the figure, so we can see how you've wired it up?

Pretty sure the description says he did paint the insides black. There just seems to be a gap or something under the chin.

Looks like his head is about to explode.

    Still, the LEDS are cool.

i would say that like MOST led customs the eye's are TOO bright! use tinted clear paint or tape over the LED to lesson the brightness! its easier than lowering the voltage!

But if you lower the voltage you get longer battery life.

Thanks for the compliment! Actually the light is just bleed out a bit only when you see the actual product...

    Thanks. just happy with it:p

I put 2 5mm red LEDs on the chest, 1 3mm LED "infront" of the neck...

Thanks mate! i put the LED infront, so i think it would help more... but is just a bit only, i think you also know when the time we take picture is a bit different from actual thing.

Yes, i do this inside the chest... but the head can't do much(see the above)...

Yes, you are correct, i didn't paint it black...

Thanks. i put the battery and switch at behind the chest, in between the two wheel. the battery can change easily.

if i do that, i think the OP head cannot turn left right easily. again, Thanks!

Well, what i can say is when come to actual product it will not so "Bright" until bleed out... OK, i think is my photographic skill not so good, duno how to take the nicely lighting skill...

    yes...

    Thanks for the ALL compliment!
