I decided to do this after I was contacted to do one as a commission and then turned out to be a different Optimus Prime figure they wanted. I'm calling this a WIP because there are things I still need to do to it, like the tires. I just wanted to get some opinions before I went any further. I still need to repaint his tires and touch up some spots and finish the sword I'm making for him.

Amazing work. What did you make the gun out of and would you consider making a second?

Nice job man, I like the color scheme on him. The only suggestion I would make would be to paint the windshields on his chest to have a burst effect (dark red, red, light red, yellow-red, white) kind of thing.

What are you planning for gloss if at all?

    Very cool man!

First off. Thank you all for the comments. I am really liking how he's turned out so far.

I made the gun from a battle Ravage weapon. I would love to do a second one, if you mean the figure. PM me for commission details.

    I'm glad you like it.

I don't know how to do a burst effect and i like the windows the way they are. I would have to find something to practice that with. I have other figures that it would look really cool on. Not going to gloss him. I like the flat black. I will clear coat him with Alclad Klear Kote. I love the stuff and it won't dull the figure.

I'm also very happy with the pint job. It came out better than I thought it would. I love the Battle Ravge gun and I thought it would be perfect for this custom.

Here are a couple more WIP pics. I used a Vector Prime sword and painted it in Brass, Copper and Gold, with the blade in Stainless Steel. I also did the engravings in the same teal as the rest of him with the jewel in Boyd Red.
I still need to paint the shield and I'm thinking of Black and Purple or should I do something else? I'm also going to put a Decepticon symbol in the center.

Sorry for the shitty pictures. I didn't feel like setting the light tent up. :)
