It's been a while since I've posted any work here.

This is my version of WFC Megatron. This was a basic repaint with a mod done to his cannon. I took him all apart and washed the figure. Did a base coat of flat black and dry brushed the entire figure. I did some parts heavier than others to give it some depth and to hi-light the ancient Decepticon symbol on his back. I used pearlescent purple on his chest, above his eyes, under his knees and waist. I mixed my own shade of maroon for his chest, right upper arm and left lower arm. His cannon was dremeled out and I added an LED inside the cannon and rigged a switch for it. Originally I used a red light inside and then after getting some advise by you fine people I changed it to a florescent purple bulb. This was my first time putting an LED inside a figure and I think it came out pretty damn good.

    C&C Welcome :)

Thanks so much. I beat it on the PS3 like 6 months ago. Now I have an Xbox 360 and have to beat it all over again. Fun game.

this looks really great. Love the weathering and especially love the light in the barrel. Are his left and right tracks/arms different colors on purpose?

Yes that was on purpose because the game model is painted that way.

Thank you. When doing the dry brushing, it's just a matter of how heavy or light you leave the paint on the brush. I did him with Model Masters Aluminum. His head was very difficult to get apart. You will need a razor blade and a great deal of patience. The halves of the head are glued together.

Let me know how you make out with yours.
