I had no intention of buying a Crossovers figure after getting burned by the Star Wars line, but seeing a blood red humvee totally changed my mind. I fixed his midsection, I might have gone too far, his crotch looks a little low when his knees are bent. Obviously, the yellow will be painted when he's done.

Yeah, I really like this head sculpt with the visor down. It also makes a cheap Punch/Counterpunch base.

They released an Iron Man redeco of the Cap Humvee?? Interesting!

The Marvel Crossovers feel VERY different from the Star Wars ones... they're not all perfect, but for the most part they are far superior Transformers. The only thing the StarWars ones have going for them are relatively nice vehicle modes... the robot aesthetic on them is generally pretty awful.

Curious to see how this one turns out...

Yeah, I understand the Star Wars ones are crap because they have to make the vehicle mode first and work the robots around that. The Marvel ones are pretty much opposite, which is why they're less flimsy and have better proportions. I'm definitely getting a Hulk tank, too. Hopefully they'll repaint it in Ironman so I can make an easy Warpath.

D: Holy nuts, that's brilliant! I had to snag this idea to do, too (someday I'll get around to it.)

Btw, did you modify any parts to help improve the articulation?

While not bad, this head does not work for Ironhide at all

Agreed. The head is a little out of whack with it. I ended up using the heads off of 2 Solar Storm Grappels back when he was cheap for both of my custom projects for Ironhide and Ratchet using the Ironman Humvee mold. I really dig the mold. The size and plain old chunkyness make him a great base to work from, but there are a lot of rub points on this fella so watch out, or sand everthing. Also, if you are gonna do Ironhide AND Ratchet, think about using the hands off of a Skullgrin or Darkmount for Ratchet, they look good and are poseable. Good luck bud! Hope you finish...mine are still in "progress" as I am a lazy ass. Cheers!
