I got really excited when I found a second WFC Megs yesterday, I had planned to do 2 repaints of the mold. Given the moderate difficulty of finding him, I decided to do this repaint first, instead of Black/Red.

I did a slight resculpt of the head, giving him his characteristic "crown." I think it could be a little smoother, I may touch it up over time. I would've cut off some of the cheek area, but Hasbro glued the head pieces together and I didn't want to risk breaking it.

The paint job isn't perfect, some of the silver isn't really completely solid. The orange on the cannon is terrible. This was due to the fact that they were sold out of orange, so I tried my best to blend red and yellow. I will redo it as soon as I get said orange. I also think the purple comes out slightly lighter in the pics.

I had come up with the cannon mode independently, which was not really difficult at all. But just leaving it like that made it look wierd. So his cannon mode is adjustable by bending the legs back. This way he can get a wider range of angles.

I like it :)  I was planning to do something similar with the arm cannon for my Galvatron. Take a look here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/329943-wip-wfc-classicsverse-galvatron.html. Btw, if you can get an sharp blade down the join of Megtron's head you can cut away the glue. Even if a part does break the screw that is in the head holds everything in place perfectly. There was no reason for Hasbro to glue the head together. Also, I already knew about using the back legs to adjust the cannon mode to :)

    Thanks!

The head on yours is a tad small for my taste. I had actually tried using a blade to cut through the glue, but I don't have one sturdy enough and would likely end up cutting myself if forced too hard. Thanks for the tip though. And yeah, the cannon mode is common sense. I had actually decided to do this repaint when I stumbled upon the cannon mode.

Very cool. I think the crown should be cleaned up a little but that's about it. Everything else looks great.

Really now. Soundwave into what? I'm looking for a second WFC Soundwave so I can do the standard red/black. I've done OP and BB already, I want to do it for Megs and Soundwave as well.
