So seen as we know Drift is getting a WFC toy the questions are
    A) will he be a playable character.
    B) will he be in the game
    C) will it be his cybertron or earth design

Im leaning towards it bein his earth desighn from that red prototype we saw a while back but i dot now how they would explain that in game. If he is even in the game at all.

IIRC, it seems more likely that Drift and the WFC toys will all be grouped together into the Generations line.

There's no such as Classics. 3.0. It was a name made up by the fandom in lieu of the actual name.

I'm hoping he won't be a playable character.
Sorry, I just don't like the character.

Yeah, as others said it was just weird and confusing wording. Drift isn't going to be in WFC.

Considering the line in question these were being realesed under was "Generations" I think drift will just represent his IDW form.

Actually, no, he isn't. He's getting made as a Deluxe class toy in the new TF:Generations toy line (presumably the continuation of Universe Hasbro has been talking about). By the sound of it, Generations is going to be made up of homages from many different eras of Transformers, and four of the five figures we know about are WfC related. Theoretically them and Drift could be the first wave of Deluxes in the line.

Makes sense. It did look a lot like Drift.
