The logic is sound, but who's to say Hasbro shipped any normal "wave"? This is a promotional thing, so maybe they sent special promotional stock of just Bumblebee and Op. Like the Protoforms for TF07, or Bumblebee and Soundwave for TF09. They were included in later normal waves, too.

edit: I'm wrong; the protoforms weren't included in any later waves because they were Wal-Mart exclusives. But 'Bee and 'Wave were in regular waves, weren't they?

 

The 07 protoforms were not store exclusives. every store had them. I bought mine at Target.

I think if TRU.com actually had these in, they'd be out of stock by now. This fandom has shown we have the ability to completely drain an item's stock in minutes (TRU Arcee and Ratchet) over and over again.

 

^ No, the Movie Protoforms weren't exclusive anywhere. But there was a "preview" wave for each movie consisting of thetoys you listed.

We've seen no word of a preview wave for Generations/WfC, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I ordered 2 Primes. Is it just me or is Bumblebee missing his right foot in the picture on the TRU site? So which is the right picture all the others we have seen that show two feet or the one on the TRU site now that shows one foot and then a wheel as the right foot? Maybe Im just seeing things. I believe the thing on his left foot is a stand since both his feet are wheels(like the Arcee sisters from ROTF, in this case 1 wheel). At least, this is what I think.

 

Thank goodness. I was hoping they would show up soon. I need something my for my girlfriend to get me for my birthday. It didn't make sense for these the be released after the game was released, so it's good to see them out. Hopefully Drift will be up soon, he's the one I want.

This is true but I would only be saving 0.86 cents.

My total at TRU.com with shipping and tax comes out to $25.25.

My total at my local TRU store including tax would be $26.11.

I think that I might just hold off on this until they start showing up in stores. That way I can check out a few of them in order to get the best looking paint apps that I can find.

Now if there was a current promo code which gave us free shipping for this small order then I might change my mind. Right now they are offering free shipping but only on orders of $100 or more.
