Seeing as the game is coming out in 2012, with Prime hopefully still going, do you think the toys will wind up being released in the Prime toyline with "Cybertronian" prefixes, or as a seperate thing? A line devoted to WFC 2 would be awesome to see, but I don't see it happening unless Hasbro wants to make EVERY character from the game in plastic form.

Classics 4.0 or whatever they call it. Or we get lucky and WFC 2 gets its own toyline.

Since the show and the game are two entirely separate continuities, no I don't think we'll get WFC2 in the Prime toy line.

I do think there will be some in what ever their main toy like will be though.

I would LOVE if WFC 2 got its own line though.

It will possibly still be in Generations since Hasbro has said that they wanted to keep the Generations line running along side the movie and even after the movie. We'll see if that actually happens, but it seems to be what Hasbro wants to do to fit everything that doesn't fit in the current main line into.

The show and the game are the same continuity as stated by Hasbro.

I don't buy that. That might be what they *say*, but there are far too many inconsistencies for them to be in the same continuity.

Not really. Besides, the show isn't over yet. Bit premature to say it's out of continuity.

No doubt Generations/whatever will still be around by then, so they'll most likely show up there.

It would be cool if they offered a figure as a preorder bonus. Maybe a repaint.

In WFC Starscream had been working on Dark Energon. Megatron Mastered Dark Energon (which is what got Startscream to join Megatron), used it to corrupt the core of cybertron.

In Prime Startscream was shocked to see that Megatron FOUND what had previously been considered a Cybertronian myth.... the "Blood of Unicron" aka Dark Energon. Megatron masters Dark Energon on earth. When Megatron sends Dark Energon to Cybertron it re-animates all the dead and fallen Cybertronians.

    Seems pretty inconsistent to me....

Then Ratchet mentions it's so scarce as to be virtually non-existant. Everyone who brings up this point seems to ignore the unknown time gap between Prime and WFC. Over time, something can become a legend, especially if it assisted in shutting down your home planet. In that context, Starscream's reaction is that of someone who thought it was ancient history. And Dark Energon had that undead reaction to that space slug in WFC.

Congrats on sticking to your stance Wollstone despite overwhelming odds.

I'm not going to be drawn into this debate again. It's gotten to the point that neither side will listen to the other.

Lets just admit Transformers are cool, and WFC 2 figures would be great to see when the game is released.
