The show got alot of problems, that isn't one of them.

Oh and Barricade sucks. Interesting vehicle mode idea, terrible character, deserves to be forgotten along with mary sue Lockdown.

 

Red herring. I swear this is gonna wind up being a red herring. Besides creators are allowed to tell half truths. It was made in the character creator thing, that I don't doubt. They just chose a creation that looks a lot like their future Nemesis Prime.

 

If they were just going to lie about who he is, then why even bother putting a cutout of him in the MMO section along with the Prowl and Barricade cutouts in the first place? You just sound sore he's not what you wanted.

EDIT: Oh, so now you say it isn't "Nemesis Prime," but just a character they made in the MMO that looks like him? Oi.

 

Well It seems very likely to me that Barricade and Prowl are going to find their way into the show anyway. Those designs are getting too much praise for Hasbro to not notice and want to cash in.

Well why not? They said he was a character created in the character create mode. Fair enough. I'm just saying that when they decided what to make the character look like they just used Nemesis Prime's model as a sort of easter egg.

It doesn't make any sense, he's not an actual character. In the game you can create a custom robot (there's a video around showing it off), and the big blue bot was created by Hasbro as an example of a bot you could potentially create in the game (given you've unlocked all the right options).

To put it simple, Prowl and Barricade are pre-existing characters in the game, while big blue there is an example of the kind of bot you can build yourself.

 

He's very mary sue. And boring.

What show were you watching were Lockdown is boring? Also having an interesting backstory does not make someone a mary sue.

 

He is not interesting, his only backstory is HE USED TO BE A NINJA FROM DOGO THAT WENT BAD, aka 70's crap kung fu movie villain, and it came out of nowhere too, should've just kept his relatioship with Ratchet instead of shoe horning him into Prowl's life, specially the whole "he is randomly wearing the master's helmet now" bit.

He was just boring, generic smarmy villain that is always going B ] while giving half assed taunts (he did the whole "tsk tsk tsk u gunna make me fall asleep" for god's sake)

Anyone's backstory sounds stupid when you type it in all caps with improper spelling.

 

While I wouldn't necessarily mind Lockdown in TFPrime, I do feel he is pretty low down on the list, there are ALOT of other Cons who should get a look in before him especially since we already have a "rogue Decepticon hunter" type in TFP, even if they hunt for different reasons.

 

I don't agree that Lockdown's a Gary Stu, but the 'former ninja' thing was too forced and out of left field for my liking. Another character could've filled that role; hell, they already set up Oil Slick as having known and trained with Prowl, but ended up not paying that angle any heed.

 

Would love to see a new Con in Prime like they did with Skyquake and Knock Out. Not necessarily a new name or anything, but a re-imagining. Preferably using the name of a toy-only character. Cannonball, anyone?
