    I'm sorry if this is commonly known, but are these suppost to reference the G1 insecticons in any way? they're alt modes look....familiar..

    The only similarity I see are the pincers on the top left one.

    I thought about that with the top left one I had a differfent version.

    The others I am not seeing it.

    No. Those are the Decepticon target master-ish mini-con team. The protrusion on that guys back are kill blades.

    the red planes rear is tilted up and makes it look as if he has grasshopper legs

    It's miss-transformed, that IS a Hasbro stock photo. That C5 looking guy folds up into a wrist missile pod.

    Insecticons, no not as far as I know of. They do have the third Targetmaster modes, but I'm not really a big fan of their weapon modes (I like the Emergency Team's Targetmaster modes much better).

    It's not mid transformed, the rear of the plane really does angle up like that.

    I can kinda see a similarity between Gunbarrel and Kickback, but I think you're just overanalyzing it.
