The place was AWESOME. Got me Encore Omega Supreme, Thundercracker and Skywarp, and Skylynx, all for $169.99. :D

The staff I talked to were nice and friendly and actually seemed a bit enthusiastic that they had "in person" customers to deal with. If you're ever in Western Wisconsin or the Twin Cities area, you should definitely stop by and buy some stuff.

There really isn't. They have a small office with computers in it, otherwise they are just a giant warehouse.

We just bs'd with several workers while they gathered my and my friends stuff we wanted. It was fun, plus we got some good stuff. :D

What part of WI are they in? I live in Illinois a bit outside of Monroe.

Somerset, WI. So you'd have to basically drive to the Twin Cities and stop about 7 miles before crossing the St. Croix River.

For my Minnesotan neighbors, it's 7 miles away from Stillwater, MN on Highway 64.

I didn't know they had an actual store to shop inside of. I thought their entire operation was only internet based. Pretty cool to know though.

This is interesting. I live 10 miles from them and have asked if I could pick stuff up to save shipping and they said they wouldn't cause they aren't insured for customers being in the building. Funny thing is they would have gotten over 300.00 in business instead of tfsource if they had done it.

For some reason I have a mental image of their warehouse looking like that one at the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. You know, where the government stores the Ark? And it just goes on and on forever? Yeah, that one.

I thought it was just a website. Didn't know there was a actual store.

If it is just an office and a warehouse I am surprised they allowed the general public inside. Sounds awesome.

    EDIT:

Well now that I thought about it. It is not to surprising. I visited the robotoys.com storage unit in Van Nuys, CA to purchase a SOC Combattler V.

That's the same thing I was told. I suppose if you show up with credit card in hand they won't turn you away. That must be the same sense of overcaution that forces them to orange cap all their Megatrons. I wouldn't be surprised if they started orange capping tank Megatrons next, just to be sure. :lol

Man, what was the name of it... Small Blue Planet? ...something Blue Planet that was based here in PA. Mostly an internet outfit, but they had a little tiny shop that you could wander around in that opened up into their warehouse. They weren't that great a retailer and I remember them having some redonkulous prices.

...but, it was cool to be able to drive up to a place that stocks the kinda stuff you usually have to go to a store online for and be able to purchase it in person. I remember picking up the first Binaltech Smokescreen (which a dude on their staff even held on to for a few weeks for me), a bunch of WSTs and X-Dimension Microns. Good times.

That said, that's awesome for you cbff. It'd be way too cool and too financial damaging to drive up to BBTS with a list every other week and walk away with stuff right then and there.

That is awesome. Did a tiny beam of golden light shine down upon the building when you entered? LOL I can see it now, and I really wish I could go. That must have been awesome.
