Well My brother contacted me today asking for pictures of a certain transformer that will be used in creating his son's Pinewood Derby car, and that transformer is Hot Rod.

Pretty cool to get some pictures made and I've asked him to send me some work in progress pictures! Had to take some pictures so he can get the details of the figure down.

So that means my Nephew probably is going to have the coolest looking Pinewood Derby Car!

The Original G1 Hot Rod since that's my nephew's favorite Transformer.

I remember when I used to make those derby cars for Cub Scouts. Good times, good times.

Ahhh, Pinewood derby memories. I remember my car that looked like G2 Beachcomber. My mom even built the rollcage out of dowels.

My brother says he's going to build the spoiler for Hot Rod but has to check if it'll be regulation.......I'd still make a Hot Rod out of a Pinewood Derby kit for the fun of it....

Ah, Pinewood Derby cards, I loved those while in Boy Scouts, my first one was an Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, I also did a Batmobile and a KITT as well..... come to think of it, I may have my cars still, though I would have to located them.

I still got all four of my pinewood derby cars with me. My "greatest" would be my CubBob ScoutPants car (if you can call it that), which managed to screw up the computerized finish line scanner by never crossing the finish line. I got a trophy for that.

Anyways, I like how you're able to help your nephew build his car with one of your hobbies, I'm sure it will be a good one! Maybe you can get a picture of the finished car with the original Hot Rod, perhaps?

    We need pics..

Also you need to take a small boombox and every time he races play "You've got the touch! You've got the power!! Yeeeeaaah!"

    He has.

He's very good at being a scout, my brother has made sure of that for sure.

I'll see if I can get my brother to send me some pictures of the car.
