The wife went and bought a Wii knowing that I was not interested in it. I know some say that it is a good console and some say that it is not. I myself am not interested in it since it came to market but now Ill have a chance to fully evaluate its worth.

Try out No More Heroes, MP3, and RE4 to see good examples of the controller in a "real" game. Although it doesn't need the remote, SSB Brawl adds tremendously to the console's worth as well. The system is also a convenient way to play GameCube games in progressive mode. If your TV supports progressive and you've got the cables for it, pick up a copy of F-Zero GX for cheap and try it out.

Pick up Mario Galaxy, SSBB, and Metroid Prime 3. Then get ready for the WiiWare release.

Great game, Mario Galaxy. Not the best use of the remote to date, but it does show that the system has at least a little bit of graphical clout, and it's quite possibly the best Mario game since Super Mario Bros. 3.

Am I one of the only people that really wasnt impressed with Mario Galaxy. I've played quite a bit of it, but Metroid Prime 3 and Godzilla are my main stay Wii titles.

I really can't pin down why I don't enjoy it, it just seems boring to me.

godzilla is a lot of fun. i know reviewers complained about the controls, but i thought they were perfect for controlling large, lumbering beasts of destruction myself.

Hey, I didn't want to start a new thread just for this question, but since we are talking Wii, does anyone know if the game Rygar for the NES is available on the VC?

To this day, that is not only one of my favorite NES games (not to mention very graphically awesome for its time, what with the parallaxing Sunset and multi dimentional play styles), but one game that I never mind going back to every now and then.
