Well I lost my edge (excersize related)

    Well, I'm 23 years old and weigh 150 lbs. This weekend I took my bike out for a spin getting a buddy of mine his birthday gift (a bottle of Gentlemens Jack)...

    Anywho, throughout the trip I'm getting extremely exausted, with my heart rate probably going up. I was feeling sick than I have ever felt before when I took a bike trip like this, and I've taken longer trips than that feeling fine.

    I work 8 hours with an hour lunch and get home around at 7PM. I'm in a rather bad neighborhood so it's pretty intimadating to bike around at night, any suggestions for indoor excersize activiaties?

    I've been doing sit ups and push ups but thats about all I've got on the list.

    Yeah, and KA can hook you up. He has a MILF all set up at an apartment building, and if she finds him attractive, she would find anyone attractive. Either that, or she is a very desperate housewife.

    If you have a nice bike, buy one of those stands for the back wheel that can add resistance and turn it into an indoor stationary bike.

    Other than that, you'd have to buy equipment to get your heart rate up (treadmill, elliptical, etc) or get some free weights. You can get some free weights at WalMart fairly cheap, and they work better than just using household items.

    a reminder, dont equate fitness for energy level. for example, i'm not ripped but can still play full court basketball and run/jog without feeling like im going to die. those calisthenics(?) dont help you in the energy level/stamina department.

    sounds like you need cardio, so try maybe jump rope or sumin, thats pretty much stationary exercise.

    Yep, jump rope helps build cardio very nicely. If you don't have the room for the rope(low ceiling or something), you could always do jumping-jacks for the same effect.

    They're expensive, but you could get some rollers for your bike. It would let you ride it stationary, indoors.

    Get a heavy bag. Work it for three rounds of a minute a round. Work your way up to ten rounds of three minutes a round.

    Most people woudn't believe how hard this is to do. I guess it also depends on how hard you are punching, I usually go all out.

    I'm all up for the jumping jacks. Some things that I'm concerned with is that I'm on the 2nd floor of an apartment and I dont want to disturb the downstains neighbors.

    Gym membership.

    I work the same and try to get an hour into the gym a day. After that hour of working out your body just feels good.

    Yeah, I've been feeling really out of it exercise wise as well. I mean, I do some lifting and such at my job, but I need to start doing some cardio. After I get back from vacation, I am definitely joining up with my sister's gym and getting my large ass in the gym. Consequently, joining the gym and slimming down could help me in following KAs evercise advice: fuck buddy.

    Might be able to find the fuck buddy there. And they would more then likely be a little husky, so that would be cardio and weight training (especially if you let her get on top).

    Ah ha, no. If my sister did go to curves, I would run in the opposite direction. I tend to avoid women who could potentially outweight me:lol 

    Lifestyles is her gym btw.

    Amen. I could toss empty pallets ontop of 7 foot tall stacks with little effort if I had a fuck buddy found at Curves.

    Lifestyles?? I think I've heard of it. Around here all we got are 24hr Fitness, LA Fitness, Curves, and Bally's..

    Actually, there are like 20 Curves around here now. They're everywhere!! They're like Starbucks I tell you.

    But yeah, joining a gym is a good idea.
