In the last month, I've had a string of regrettable breakages in the collection. For some morbid reason, it's prompted me to start this thread where we post our recent casualties.

I'm pretty certain I've not seen a thread of this type before.

And who better to introduce such a thread than the 4 most miserable Decepticons, Dirge, Dead End, Darkwing and Dreadwind.

And here's my most recent casualties...

KO oversized Wrecker Hook
Third party Scorpulator
Third party Lightspeed. His feet broke off on the day I slaggin' got him!!!
Mega Scf Hot Rodimus. I've been gluing his spoiler on every few years. It came off the other day.

At least 3 were victims of the dreaded wooden floor as they plummeted to it's hard, unforgiving surface....

LG-Mindwipe? what happened? I am in search of his gun since mine came without

 

Everything happened  
First his robotarm just broke.
Then he broke in another place (don't remember where).
Both instances I wasn't even handling him. Just held him and pieces broke of.
I ordered a new one, at full price sadly :/

A guy in the states once asked me to send him Computron's Perfect Effect gun and the people at the post office told me it would basically cost the price of the PE set to get it to the US.

Classics Dragstrip-ball joint socket broke off. He can still transform, but his thigh is immobilised
Cyberverse DOTM Optimus-thumbs and whole right arm broke off. On the bright side-he looks like he did in fight with Sentinel
Cyberverse Prime Starscream-his aft broke off(darn that transculent plastic)
TFP Arcee Deluxe-her horn broke a bit, nothing serious
FOC Ultra Magnus-One of his tabs on legs broke(at least he is easier to transform)
DOTM Sideswipe(which belongs to my younger brother)-side mirror fell off
DOTM Powerglide-back wing broke

 

the only major break I've had in the last few years was the OS KO TLK Megatron. His arm broke off and since it wasn't on a ball joint, he was DOA.

my most recent casualty (from last year, actually) is CW Brakedown. i moved in 2016 with Menasor assembled, and his windshield snapped off in the box. i superglued it back into place but it didn't hold so i bought a backup (that wave was on sale).

i have a KO CHUG Thundercraker, "Blue Falcon," whose shoulder is showing severe stress lines...then again, he's barely above shampoo bottle plastic, but he looks cool as a seeker army builder, especially as a season 3 animation background seeker.

My most recent break that I can recall was Machine Wars Optimus Prime. Something in his crotch area snapped while transforming him and now his legs just free swing and wont lock in place in truck or robot mode.

Also the wing snapped off my Over-Run mini-con that came with Armada SuperCon (deluxe) Optimus Prime. He still looks ok in gun mode and robot mode, just not so much in jet mode.

You might as well buy a TR Mindwipe in that case. Sorry man.
Though I can't imagine someone won't sell a Mindwipe gun on e-bay within the next six months.

 

Thanks. Yes that Astrotrain's body. I took the face from an old G1 Dreadwind and stuck it on the back of a Titanmaster.

 

PRID Skyquake's knee decided to self destruct the other day while I was transforming him.

2007 Incinerator's propeller gimmick stopped working about a year ago. I'm guessing one of hi internal gears must have stripped a few teeth off or something.

 

Those two things happened to me as well.

As for latest casualties... TR Wolfwire's back section snapped, but not completely.

A tab on one of MPM Prime's swords broke off in the gun barrel.

MP Prowl's left door wing snapped off due to falling of a shelf.

I could have sworn I heard a crack from POTP Slug, but I never found out where.

Ooh! After I opened SS Crowbar, I noticed that the panel that forms the back of his vehicle mode was snapped of in the box.

 

TR Hot Rod arm part snapped off after tightening the shoulder too much. I glued it back on, but I'm just afraid it'll break again.

My casualty for this month is MP Inferno.

I had him standing on the top (outside) of my Detolf due to overcrowding and re-organizing of the shelves but when I closed the glass door quickly to attend to something else, either due to the vibration felt throughout the cabinet or a poor pose stability, he took the plunge onto the hardwood below.

Amazingly he stood up to major damage but was quite disappointed that his water spray accessory broke and the peg that inserts into his arm broke within. I'll have to look for a loose replacement for both parts now.

 

Like the Lazarus Pit I bring dead toys back to life. An assortment of screwdrivers, glues, putty, and a 3D printer says nothing is truly dead.
