Technically, he wasn't. Charlie Adler (Movie Starscream) was G1 Silverbolt.
2.) Sampled all of them, but for simple nostalgia, G1 is my fav.
3.) Don't know yet. It's possible.
4.) We've talked about it. Don't wanna spoil anything!
Ok, thanks for answering my question Mr. Orci.
Another quesition is, after reading one of your comments... could there be possibly other elements taken from other series besides G1? Such as Beast Wars, Armada, Cybertron, or Animated?
Assuming his voice is fully functional in part 2, Dan Gilvezan for Bumblebee?
Mark Ryan is playing Bumblebee if you didn't know already.
I did not. I'll shut up now.
Also, do you collect any Transformers?
And if so, what's your favorite series?
I know you already answered this at your panel at BotCon last year, but it seems that several people remember the details from your answer differently, so I'd like to have a clear, concise answer to reference.
What's the exact relationship between dropped-from-the-script Arcee and the motorcycle Lennox uses for his assault on Blackout? Was there ever a scenario where Arcee would/could/should have been that motorcycle?
With all of the work you've been getting lately you've had the opportunity to work with a lot of different actors. Is there any specific actors that you would like to work with but haven't had the chance yet?
The question Primus asked got me thinking, any chance we could get Bruce Campbell to voice one of the robots somewhere down the franchise road?
Any voice actors that you guys have been wanting but haven't been able to work in yet?
First off, thanks for answering so many questions.
My question is this. How does the robot screen time in this one compare to the first? I'd say the robot screen time in this one was too short. This worked so well cause it built up the big reveal and the fight at the finish. But with the reveal gone, and the Transformers out in the public eye, that won't fly this time. How much more screen time and dialogue do they get, percentage wise? Ya know 20%, 50%?
Will there be a possibilty that a main HUMAN cast character will be killed to make the film seem more dramatic and the decpeticons that much more badass??? I would like to see one of the new cast members (MAtthew MArsden) Tyrese?? Leo?? but most of all I think SIMMONS should go down with a BANG!!
Oh hey Bob, here's another one:
Now that movie 1 is out, could you verify whether specific pre-movie stuff such as "leaked" artwork, scripts etc. was real or fan-made? You already confirmed the leaked scripts, but there was some other stuff that was initially declared "fake". Would just help to tie up some open ends.
Also Bob, another question: Was the length of the transformation sequences something you guys wrote into the script? Any idea if the amount of time it takes a robot to transform will be shortened? If you have any influence in how they animate that, I would recommend you try and get the majority of the tranformations to take 3-5 seconds. Long transformations were cool for the first movie, but for the second, even casual viewers will begin to think, "hey, why don't they just wait for Optimus to be transforming and shoot him during that?" I imagine it'd save on CGI if long transformations were reserved for key moments or first time a character transforms. Plus it gives you the option of using the highly respected transformation sound without extra filler.
Think Barricade when he transformed to go chase Bumblebee. That was the coolest transformation in the movie to me.
hello again Mr. Orci.
i know that at least here on tfw we have discussed the possibility of triple changers for the movies. would you ever considered have a transformer in the movies that had one vehicle mode and then two robot modes instead of a being a triple changer with two vehicle modes?
Hey Bob, any plans for a Punch/Counterpunch style character? With the Autobots and Decepticons having such different appearances, a character with two robot modes would be extra awesome
edit: and now I take the opportunity to look directly above me, and curse the heavens.
though to get some mileage out of this post, how does Michael Bay feel about having become an emoticon?
Will we be getting squences where the transformers actually transform back and forth while they fight? In the first movie we always got one transformation and then the bots would be stuck in that particular mode, or if they did transform back it would happen off camera.
I hope the new budget isn't wasted on more human character development. I liked the first movie just thought we got way too much of the humans story.
I'm afraid Orci is in "no comment" mode untill the movie release.
