Weird Al Yankovic and his band were featured yesterday on XM Radio's "Artist Confidential." The studio audience was invited to ask questions to Al, and the very first question came from a TransFan about the music from the Junkion scene.

Kind of an interesting insight into how the music roster for the 86 movie was filled, I think.

Anyway, this Artist Confidential show ran for 24 hours straight on XMX yesterday (10/13/08) and will likely run again in the future. It's an hour long. You can catch some other great questions and some live performances of some of Al's best parodies and original songs.

On a side note, if this isn't the proper forum for this kind of tidbit, mods please feel free to move as necessary.

It's a funny enough response, but this isn't anything new. We've known about this since like, 1999-2000, when he appeared on VHI's Behind the Music.

And it was even on his website's Q&A section before *that*

Still, I know a lot of people haven't heard the big story about it before, so it's still cool

Yeah, it's not new, but the show "Artist Confidential" is... just thought people might want to listen out for it.

Someone should've asked about voicing Wreck-Gar, and if he was invited back for Season 3 of Animated.
