How different can you get from Make Toy's version. Admittedly I'm not that close to what Computron looks like, looking impressive all the same. Wonder if they'll go Masterpiece scale to differentiate from Make Toys

Someone who's paid more attention, is this fully original or an improvement on an existing product?

I don't recognize it, but there are enough Computrons out there i might not.

Very leftfield and a strange design.

    You know...I like it!

When I saw those robot modes, my reaction was, "Uh....no thanks, I'll stick with my Maketoys Computron."

Then I saw the vehicle modes and the combined mode and I changed my tune. This looks like it isn't supposed to be a G1-styled Computron.

Looks like this is more like a stylized interpretation of Computron, sort of like how the IDW "-ation" series reinterpreted all the G1 cast into new bodies. Or, like the Alternators reinterpreted the G1 characters into radically different new robot and alternate modes.

i like wj, but is this going to be another OS miss??.. i wish theyd scale down and get the joints/articulation/weight right and ill buy them.. until then, ill laugh at the 130 dollar throttlebots doing the splits from the vibration of a cough. its the WJ leaning tower of pisa?

the limited articulation and short arse os defensor puts me off... blahs.. maybe id buy defensor for 50 bucks, roughly about 20 dollars less than what people want. oh yeah, then i gotta buy first aid and street wise for another 30 bucks.. well fuh that.

but i still want them..im just not paying retail.

    gl with this one wj

Looks like the combiner parts are built in, which is awesome. The arms are the same, one guy split in half.

If the price is right, I'll take one of this weird ass thing. Scale doesn't matter, this can stand alone.

I'm getting hard. Knowing weijiang, this whole set would probably cost as much as one leader class hastak...crap.

Dunno if I can see myself buying this (really not crazy about the proportions of the individual bots or the combined mode and the Computron headsculpt is pretty dire) but damn if this isn't an original take on a TF combiner. The arms being made up of Strafe halves and Lightspeed forming part of the torso really puts me in the mind of a Power Rangers/Super Sentai zord, and I mean that as a compliment.

If nothing else, I think the ideas suggested by concept artwork are awesome. I'm not in love with the execution so far but I'll be curious to see where this thing goes.

Well that is a different take. Still liking my Warbotron Computron. Regret selling my unite warrior computron slightly after getting Warbotron Computron.. but not too much. Still have my G1 too...
It's enough for my Computron fix.

I like the ALT modes here.

I'm assuming the bot in the middle of the line up is scattershot...but he's not significantly bigger than the rest. In fact, size wise he looks abt the same. How did they manage to get the combined mode to look so proportional?

Torso made of two bots (Scattershot & Lightspeed). Strafe splits to form both arms.

This combiner is completely self contained, no extra pieces needed!

What they are saying in this photo is that the combiner ports are compatible with Fire King...
