I dunno. After seeing the 3 together, and accuracy aside, toon or toy, Wei Jiang looks more modern and streamlined. To me it makes FT version look antiquated. Like MP1, 2, 4 (being FT and DX9) compared to today's versions of MPs. I had OS as a kid and I prefer this WJ one

Emgo has his mascot and now thanks to Wei Jiang I have mine This set is the most fun of all three Omega’s and was worth the money for Bones alone! solid, most poseable, most detailed, biggest track

 

If it were a bit smaller, I would prefer this as a CHUG omega supreme.

 

Articulation looks great and it also looks to not have stability issues. Love the voice chip and the running motor but no rotating turret and I admire but have zero cares for light up gimmicks. I'll turn them on once and go cool but never turn them on again. Still don't like the thinness of it but it should look amazing from a perspective angle if one did a photoshoot from a humans eye view. Thick legs, tiny head should make it look towering. On the other hand if I was looking at a play toy this one wins hands down.

Still not sold on this @$200. @150 maybe. @100 sure.

sidenote: Looking at the size of CW Devy and TW Constructor with 3P Omegas ones a little too short, the other's too tall at least according to The Secret of Omega Supreme.

 

Well you can get it for just a little over $100 on toaboa. The trick is getting it from there to you without the shipping cost killing any savings. At least one person in this thread has pre-ordered from toaboa so I expect we'll be hearing how much shipping ends up costing.

 

I have ordered from there. I'm in Aus. It will be defs close to 200..

 

Don't see why people are complaining about the face, looks good to me  

 

I'm looking at it this way: I'm not buy Omega for $300-400 from anyone else. Period. I'd wait for Hasbro, but I know it'll be big. And that's about it. If it comes out at all now, without TRU backing such a huge scale. I'd still rather have the Hasbro version of the character for half the price, because I know those aren't worth twice as much money.

Now we have this for $200. That's not a lot of difference in price. That's an extra week's savings. No, I don't get a a Sunbow or G1 toy accurate base mode. I don't care. It looks well built and fun.

That extra $50 also gets me something that we all know Hasbro will never give us: a motorized tank. I don't care about the lights and voice chip. It's cool, but won't impact my interest much. I'll probably rarely use them. I will set this base up on my desk and have that little tank eat batteries like Pez. Around the track. Chasing my cats. This is a toy. I want a big toy.

Having seen Bens review really makes me considering replacing my FT for the WJ. Gonna order it next week for sure. After that I will decide which to keep.

 

If Hasbro makes an Omega figure for $150, it’ll feel cheap and hollow just like Fortress Maximus. No thank you.

 

Just asked the gf which one looked the best and she said middle one and she's never seen omega supreme

Well, I've tried editing that screengrab above. If one wants his Not-Omega to look screen accurate, then Ultima's face sits lower, the silver crest is longer, his eyes are bigger and the head is narrower than the source material. If that's close enough to you, enjoy your MP Omega. But his face is not identical to the cartoon source.

 

I wouldn't say it was an MP, more of an updated look ..it's not identical but close enough to tell it's Omega
