I like that the transformation on this guy seems intuitive and isn't some overly complex panel explosion. I don't think it captures the G1 purist bunch, but I think it makes a pretty serviceable Omega Supreme, especially if he's just going to be hanging out in bot mode all the time.
The only criticism I have is that the tank looks too dinky for Omega's head turret. It's like Charles Schultz decided to design a Transformer and called it Charlie Supreme. Given the design though, there may not have been anything for it. I'd grab him if he was cheap enough, the right size, and came in a Guardian Robot repaint.

Not bad looking. The tank looks a bit goofy though, it's like a bobblehead tank.

If it's cheaper and can stand properly then of course there's interest! UT still is the one to beat for me though, aesthetically at the very least.

This^. Only difference is I wont get any Omega. If they price him in the 100$ range though, yeah I might bite for the robot mode.

Base mode has many things I dont like.

It all comes down to price. I had no intention of buying a 3p OS, but if it's around $100 count me in.

I really do like the bot mode. Very similar in presence to FT… which I fell in love with watching the video.
But FT, while indeed is MP size, is simply too big for my collection.
What's the point of having an MP Omega if I can't display him anywhere?

So if this is indeed closer (hopefully a bit larger than) to CW Devastator, I'm in like Flynn!
Also looks as if this model could potentially be motorized. Not needed… but a cool touch!

the vehicle mode/transformation seems uninspired to me, but the bot looks good. price might sway me to consider, tho

If it's huge, it's gonna add a lot of shipping to the cost.

Hard to tell if the legs are hollow or that's just indented detailing.

If detailing. Nifty. If hollow..... eww. I stopped buying Hollow Hasbro for a reason.

It looks like they integrated tread gear details into his thighs.

So many 3P figures have calves that are just folded up panels, it doesnt matter to me. Its not hasbro hollow.

If I were producing this I would value that input. I might be able to still make changes to make it acceptable.

Maybe, but what do numbers of no votes actually tell you? Or proportion of no vs yes vote?

It couldn't really be saying there are 2 mp supremes at a high end prices so people don't really want any other option because they are covered. That isn't what many people are actually saying this thread.

That if you dont know why they voted no, you can only speculate, and speculations can lead to wrong decisions and bust it off, so its safer to read the actual reasons for the no votes?

I don't doubt there are genuine reasons for not being interested. Reading the comments there are some, but thankfully much more people talking about their interest.

Looking at that smaller figure next to him, I'm wondering how tall it actually is?

That smaller figure doesn't look complex, but if Omega is MP size like DX9 and Fans Toys it must be the height of MP Optimus?

After an initial bit of getting used to the alt mode, I'm finding myself rather liking this. Bot is Omega as much as either of the other offerings, though all have their differences. The liberties taken with base mode could actually result in a more logical/fun set.
So much this! FT and DX-9 (and the G1 toy come to that) all have that problem where the tank is so big compared to the track that there's almost no point in it going round it! This one seems to have a greater proportion of track too, which also helps. If they had done something about the relative size of the turret (head folds away/faux smaller turret instead for example) it would be even better.
And that will be my deciding factor. The other two 3ps missed the mark big time not including a motor feature.
Please have a motor!! And I tend to agree about the size thing. FT's in particular might be impressive but looks difficult to balance and cumbersome to display, so I would be quite happy if this was a more manageable size (with cost savings an extra bonus!).
