Not bad at all. It seems to be going great, and you chose a great time, what with the new movie and Reveal the Shield just starting.

Thats nice. I wanted Omega but I don't have the room until I move out. If you got some room, try see if you could get Metroplex. Are we talking about actual 84 toyline or do re-issues count?

Yeah, space is a bit of an issue for me too, because I got my tv displaying my Gundam and my shelf dedicated to my movies and CDs.

I'm gonna work my way up, start with the first 2 seasons.
And yes reissues do count, although I am a bit hesitant with the commerorative series.

Wow, good luck with that. I wish I could justify spending that much on my "plastic crack" these days.

I thought at first you were just going for the first year, but then you said you were going to start with the first two seasons, so I have to ask. What is your goal? The US G1 run? The first three season? Or are you going to collect the first two lines (84,85) and see where it goes from there?

P.S. Be sure to stop by the Gallery page here on TFW2005. There's a great checklist organized by year.

My definitive goal is to collect all of the G1 figures that I want, which coincidentally alot of them come from the 84-85 toy lines.

After that, I'll see how my collection grows from there.

After thinking, heres my official G1 wantlist(or at least most of it)

Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Devastator, Blitzwing, Mirage, Trailbreaker, Bluestreak, Tracks, Wheeljack, Prowl, Ironhide, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Red Alert, Jazz, Bruticus, Fortress Maximus

and Nucleon Quest Convoy(Powermaster Prime Black repaint. It looks sickkkkkkkkkkkkkk)

Some advice, ditch the cd/DVD jewel cases and get yourself some big cd/DVD binders. Saves a ton of shelf space my friend.

same here, i kept all of mine in a box after a while, still have them, but for the cds, i got the big case logic books, put the cd book on one side and the cd on the other, looks great, and satisfied my ocd lol.

great start, just don't do what i did at the start and ignore the classics series completly, so glad i wised up before they were off shelves

You can get the recent re-issue of Predaking. The G1 toys I really want are the gestalts and Optimus Prime.
