With so many new awesome tf's coming out I am looking to just get one transformers prime optimus. Rid is out of the question for the most part, so I'm mostly considering the weaponizer or first edition, assuming it will get a us release. The first edition looks just spectacular and so acccurate! I has the rubber swords which I love, too, and you may think I'm wierd but I'm a sucker for the packaging. The weaponizer looks really nice too, and is a great size for only around a few more bucks. It has electronics, and all the little gimmicks, but unfortunately he back pack too.
    So which would you recommend?

Barring another stupid hasbro stunt(always possible),
the FE should be out in nov.
    Go with it.
Way better looking than weaponizer, and more show-accurate.

Are you working on the presumption that TRU will charge less for FE Prime than Weaponizer Prime?

Or do you have another source where you can obtain FE Prime for less than the retail cost of Weaponzier Prime?

Aside from that, i have a strong personal bias against what Weaponizers represent, and from my own perspective would advise everybody against paying more than $20 for either of them.

As for just the toy, FE all the way, without a doubt.

But if you want good scale, I'd have to say Weaponizer. I got mine and honestly, I like how he looks compared to the other Autobots, he scales perfectly with Arcee and Bumblebee, well with Bulkhead and Cliffjumper, but Ratchet is the only one who seems to be a bit on the short side.

Still, both are worth owning in my opinion.
