I understand this is my first post, and I'll absolutely post more since I am (and have been) such a fan of G1 since I was a kid.

    Insert shameless plug:

My production company does a monthly webshow/podcast. Finally I found a way to work Transformers into the mix. I'd love to hear what you all think, love it, hate it, we want to hear your feedback.

So far we've been getting good reviews. If you're intrigued click the link in my signature or here I'd be very interested to hear your feedback. The episode is titled: "The Energon Agenda: Astrotrainspotting".

Someday 'bots will rule the world!

    -Goldsting

*edit: The episode does contain swearing. PG-13*

Yep, that's pretty much how I started out. It's tough at first, but once you collect enough, you start to slow down.

Your're friends are total ballsacks though. :lol

    Awesome stuff man!:thumb

    "Not now Im transforming" lol

The music stuff in between sceens were edited nice and smooth and I lol'ed when the dude found that Skywarp in the couch (ew!) and knocked that Doublecross out of your hand. The TF dealer was funny, who was the bot in the bag?

Good stuff man and welcome aboard.

Edit- If you have that on Youtube, you should post it here

My inspiration for writing this episode was almost this exact quote.

There I am in Toys R Us with my son (6 years old)...scanning the new merchandise in awe.

    Son: Dad, we need that!
    Me: By god we do!

Coming home with the robot heroes, prime helmet (Peter Cullen voice, thank you) and the preview toys. This is when the wife chimes in:

Wife: What the hell is wrong with you, what are you on crack?!?! You need help.

That's when I thought about a 'bot intervention. The rest wrote itself. :)

That was pretty damn funny...takes a long time with dialup, but it was certainly worth it!

That was great. Bot pushin fiend! Conspiracy theory man, good stuff. My wife thankfully figures that transformers cost less than many other forms of recreation, but I can totally see that scene with the wife playing out.

Awesome. I usually never watch live-action webcasts, but you have damn a good production quality. I know Im going to watch the second part when you post it. As for the toy-pusher; definately the underdog character of the "show." What's funny to me is that I've gone to some shady areas in Philadelphia to meet up with someone to buy toys. My Metrotitan and Black Zarak came from there.

"I braved the deepest, darkest corners of the concrete jungle and made my way through many hostile indigineous tribes to finally end my search for the grails of Japan. And I got a great deal, too!!"

This is a great intro thread.

I can't watch it now (at work), will when I get home. But I love a first post that gives us something cool, as opposed to, say, ridiculousness about the movie.

I'm glad your enjoyed it. We put a lot of effort into our production value
even if it means we cook under the lights...

It's amazing how much difference a $100 mic makes...

I've been editing part 2 and I think you'll all be suprised...

    :)
