I agree with Moony.

 

I've just realised I used unclear terminology.

Instead of "entire update" I should have said "entire chapter." Whichever way it gets done, I'd be posting full scenes.

So the real question is: should I wait to start posting until I can be sure of doing a post every week, or should I post each scene as soon as I finish, recognising it will likely be several weeks between scenes.

My apologies for the initial poor phrasing.

As a comic creator, my suggestion is to keep a production schedule that will not burn you out and dread working on your comic. We'll read whatever you make, and will be happy to read it whenever it's posted!

Just do it in the way that is most comfortable to you, whether that means complete chapters or scenes is okay to us, the wait is worth it, what matters is that you enjoy the way it's delivered too.

 

I have to agree with this.

 

I dont feel entitled to updates, it was just a question. Like the man said, "Sometimes a cigar is just cigar". I knew from your posts that you are an astute guy and would see that. It was Christmas and Han Solo had died. I wanted cheering up and I remembered this story is fun, and wondered if there was anything new coming as it had been a while. I didn't feel 'shut down' by Lock Cade (I mean why would I? He is just a screen name on the other side of the world) I just thought he was being helpful, passing information from another thread.  

As for updates, the wisest advice was from Starfire Mk-2 and avoid burnout.

 

Glad to hear that all was taken well, then! And also that I'm a cure for beloved-character-death blues.

Y'know, when someone says "help me make a decision" and all the replies are "do what you want!" - this is not very helpful in making the decision. I assure you, I have no intention of spending more time on this than I can afford, my question was purely about how to handle the last step. And to try and borrow some spoons by delegating a delagatable decision.

Fortunately, halconfenix has an opinion! And thus the decision is carried by a vote of 1 to "Let's ride bikes!!!!" that I shall post each scene as I finish it, accepting that there will be longer gaps between posts than has been my wont.

To that end, I suspect the next post will be at the end of the week, if I stick to my homework plan.

Like the ladies said, the Owner is superior (and I firmly believe that -- a owner can bring life to his/her toys and can easily turn around and take the toys' life away).

Well, obviously Starfire's post was disheartening, and it's taken me a while to get back into this. But.. well, if he won't talk to me, he won't talk to me, and my choices were to either quit, or finish.

I'm chosing to finish, at least this chapter, and I'm inclining towards continuing the series. We'll see how it goes. But in any case, here's a short scene to get us back into the swing of things!

and a bit of an off topic: dont be discouraged by what one or two readers say about how you do things with your story, life is a PITA, but its better to stop worrying about such trivial things and move forward, otherwise there's no way to enjoy all the good things this universe has to offer...
