well here it is:
i really enjoyed it, suprisingly even though i hate modern music
No, just no. We did not need a thread for this.
I actually didnt care for it
Between the autotune and undead Jackson sample, this is enough of a disaster on its own.
i will admit there is parts that really made me cringe (the "jamacian sounding guy" and the autotune) but as a whole i like it, still like the original WAY better
Good on the people who gave their time. There are a lot of egos in that room, glad to see they put it aside.
Also little random that Vince vaghn was in the background...lol.
id much rather hear the original and while I have no issue with the purpose of the song being covered, Haiti needs all the help it can get. I feel they should have written an original song for the purpose.
Not bad at all. This is the first time i've seen or heard the song and its really not as bad as people make it seem. Its not really my style but there is a lot of good talent there and it seems to be for a good cause, so I really can't see why anybody would have any sort of problem with this.
As stated the autotune is painful
I wonder myself, why everyone uses so extensively Autotune VST.
modern singers can't sing that is why
I find it extremely ironic and inappropriate that Lil' Wayne is there and singing this song about peace when he's facing sentencing for weapons violations.
We are the world, indeed. Time to bust a cap in someone's ass.
The original is still the best.
I applaud the effort, but either don't care about or haven't even heard of the artists involved.
Man, autotune made the song. That song needed trent reznor! NOt that kid that started the song out. Who is that kid?
Saw it during the opening ceremony of the Olympics last week and it was just flat out AWFUL. This is a prime example of how bad the music industry has become in the last 25 years.
I changed the channel when it was about to come on during the Superbowl or the Olympics or whenever it was. I lost interest in the Haiti thing weeks ago and I'm definitely not interested in musicians who are either irrelevant or unknown to me singing a benefit song for it.
This was atrocious and dumb. "Look at me, I'm singing a song about something and asking you to donate money so I look like I care"
These idiots have millions and millions of dollars. Donate some money rather than sing a damn song.
i saw justin beiber, i closed the window immediatly
EDIT: ok, i went back to watch it again. If it started with Lionel or Janet (would be more appropriate)
it would have been a great start.
as for the rest of the song... its ok.
did get teary-eyed hearing MJ.
I liked the song. Autotune doesn't bother me as long as it is T-Pain busting it out. Good mix of everything.
