Out of the question. That toy couldn't pass safety laws five years ago, it's deffinately not going to pass them these days. It'd have to be completely redesigned.

    1. I think kreo's a good ides, but won't satisfy the need for a classics Fort Max.
    2. I say release it in one big supreme class toy like unicron.
    3. No, just no.
    4. Safety tests apply, like the guy above me and like what I said In the other thread, the drop test is one of the main ones it failed.

What part of "fails safety tests" do you not understand? It doesn't matter what colors they paint it, the toy still will fail the test and not be safe for re-issue, even if it's an online exclusive.

Cyberverse in the Maximus class. Easiest way to do it, IMO.

And you don't seem to get the joke. They'll paint it yellow with black stripes so it looks like Bee, or Blue and Red like Optimus.

Then again, Fort Max is already mostly red and blue.

I wouldn't mind a KRE-O Fort Max if they also came out with more Basics to populate it with. That might be pretty cool.

It wouldn't satiate my need for a real Fort Max, though.

He gets the joke. It's just irrelevant because Hasbro CAN'T do it no matter what color scheme they use.

A completely new mould, Ultra-sized Fort Max would be a viable solution to me. One that transforms into a heavily armed space battlecruiser.

I'm guessing what the OP meant was make a NEW MOLD, and paint it those colors.

But yeah, colors have nothing to do with safety regulations on the original Fort Max. I hope we do get a new Fort Max one day.

A voyage or leader class sized Fortress Maximus with a Legends/Scout sized Cerebros that could go with other Cyberverse figures would be amazing!

What we're all forgetting is that todays children have no clue who this character is. Ask anyone from the Energon Era and they might say something like... 'Oh, was that Superion Maximus' brother?'

In order for adult fans of the franchise to get a Fortress Maximus again, Hasbro needs to re-introduce the character. Unfortunately he will never be the same as he was in G1, even if they did make him for the Generations toyline. I think the best way to bring Fortress Maximus back would be with a new mold, I'm not entirely sure what, I'd love to see a new basebot, but I doubt we'll see one outside of the Cyberverse Line.

I'd love them to re-issue the original G1 mold somehow, but it just can't happen. Not even Takara is open to re-issuing it anymore as far as I know.

Someone could make a Fort Max from the existing Kre-O sets.

With a little custom Cerebros Kreon.

Do the MP's pass all the drop tests and such? My point is it clearly wouldn't be for kids so why not make it for it's actual target demographic: collectors. Don't sell them at your typical brick and mortar stores ( your Wal-Mart, Target, ect. ) and put it in with the MP line or similar geared toward more mature collectors. What parent would buy it at such a high price for one? It would cost a very pretty penny. Todays kids would have no clue who he was or even really want it ftmp. Most online retailers sell Adult oriented (oriented as in sharp points/ultra detailed/ fairly expensive sometimes, ect., not porn :)  ) collectibles ranging in hundreds of other series so it's not like it wouldn't sell. There would clearly be a market and there's obviously demand still. A run of a few thousand at around Hercules price, easy money and pretty profitable to boot. Especially if they already have the molds. It just seems a wasted opportunity to me where both sides could come out happy. :2c:

So you want hasbro to reissue Fort Max at $500? Thats just crazy.

The prime would be too high, and at such a small production run it wouldn't be near anything the profit to make hasbro happy with the outcome.

And collectors line even sold through hasbrotoyshop didn't even sell well and were soon put sold off at clearance level stores.
