Love the Evel Knievel color scheme on Highwire. The color schemes are nice on each figure, but they are going to be hideous in their combined modes.

Is Highwire's face made out of some sort of plastic that resists paint or something? How hard is it to add one measly touch of color to that visor?

Overall, I'm not very impressed. But I do really like Backblast.

It's not too tough. I've added it to my son's Energon Highwire. A little red there makes a massive improvement.

I'm digging the color scheme on all 3 of the 'cons. I just don't know if it is enough to make me purchase them.

Wow.... that paint scheme suck in my opinion.

I think I'll be passing on these.

The Space team repaints are what I really want...pretty simplistic but decent enough...plus they're decepticons which is cool.

Perceptor looks terrible...but oh well. I'll still get them for sure.

The Decepticons in this wave look pretty good - if I go for them, Perceptor's getting pawned off to some poor sucker for sure. Sunstorm's Perceptor is bad enough, but at least he has a tough "Decepticon-y" color scheme. This one had bad colors and worse molds.

Awesome! Backblast (the space shuttle) looks awesome with his new Decepticon colours! Even Sureshock (the ATV) looks better than he originally did back in Energon. That's one set I'll be picking up for sure.

As for the others, the space team guys are all very cool - but the other two in the Perceptor set could use a little work.

Actually, I rather like High Wire's new "Evil Kneivel" colors-- the only one I'm not too fond of color-wise is Grindor. Well, and Scrap-Iron's checkerboard arm is a tad hokey.

I am always amused by the TF fandom.

Takara's Micron Boosters - "OMGWTFBBQ THESE TAKARA REPAINTS ARE SO AWESOME NOW I CAN HAVE EVEN MORE MINICONS!"

Hasbro's Minicon Vs Packs - "Hasbro really are cheap bastards. They only know how to repaint and repaint, knowing us idiot consumers will eventually buy them all. Not me, I'm smarter than that. I'm not a corporate tool!"

Erm, perhaps you don't realise these are in *different* colours to the ones you already own.

So you're paying for the fact they're in different colours and have different paint decos, than simply 'Vs.'

Heh. Whichever side of the pond you wish to side with, the idea of repainting these poor, already whored molds again and again is a reason to slap both companies across the face.

    Highwire looks fun :)

But the Space team is my least favourite, so I suppose I wouldn't worry about these sets.
