EW has a first look at them here. They're from DC Direct, which means they probably won't have much for articulation or accessories. Judging from the closed fists in the pics makes me think the no accessories habit will continue, and also we won't get any vehicles either. Boo, I wanted the Nite Owl ship, damnit.

Oh well, they're still nice to look at I guess.

Nice! I'm so far behind on DC figures, it's not even funny, though. :redface2:

Damn. I hope that this somehow gets them the chance to do the comic book versions.

    Dammit.

DC Direct looks nice, but it doesn't have much action.

I want action figures, not look nice figures.

I hope that they will somehow clear the rights to do animated Watchmen toys, too. As it stands, since most of the movie costumes are drastically different from the comic, I'll probably only pick up Rorschach, the Comedian, and maybe Dr. Manhattan (haven't seen him in movie form yet, but it seems like it would be hard to make a naked blue guy look much different in the movie than he was in the comics. . .).

They could make him neither naked or blue... :banghead:

But, I have faith in Zach Snyder. (Don't let me down, Zachy-boy!!)

So I guess Adrian Veidt finally ironed out those licensing issues.

Conflicted am I. They look very good, but only seem to have 5-7 points of articulation. Grr.

Eh? Are they doing an animated feature/short, too?

    Or did you mean "comic"?
