From what I read, Joost has exclusive rights to broadcast Transformers (G1) on the internet legally.

I guess this is cool if you don't already own the complete series, or if you are somewhere that has internet access and want to kill some time by watching TV on your laptop. However, I don't like to watch long clips of TV shows on my PC. I'd much rather watch TV on a nice comfy sofa or recliner.

btw, it looks like you only have about 17 episodes currently listed. Do you guys plan on adding more?

looks like minor spyware is attatched to the service, but nothing major that isn't on most computers regularly anyways... I might try it out.

I had Joost, but then it said that I was using something called a proxy and no longer worked. Nothing on my computer was changed.

And, just now, I tried installing it twice from the link you posted, and everytime I try and run it, it tells me I have an invalid signature. What does that mean?

I wanna watch some G1, too.

Hmmm, something's a little fishy here.

After posting before, my computer started acting up a little, which it's never done. It's fine now, but it just happened after attempting to download Joost.

I recommend caution when downloading this.

Been Beta testing it for months and I havent really had any problems.

Joost is basically a P2P network, which was developed by the same guys who started Kazaa. They've signed a number of deals with various studios to legally stream their content and garner revenue with the use of advertizements.

That being said, I would be weary of what this might turn into, especially if you consider the developers past record of putting spy and malware into Kazaa.

Anyway, cool service, but one to keep your scanning software monitoring frequently.
