Was in Wal Mart in Lodi last night and saw that Deluxes were down to $9.96! Dunno how long this will last so get them while it's cheap!
ROFLMAO I won't get them even if they discounted in my country. Quality is just plain bad to be even worth last year's price levels.
I'll have to check on that. Thinking Scorn would be fun to get at that price. Provided I can find anything other than the cheesy kiddie stuff...
Looks like I'll be getting my second Scorn at Walmart. With these prices, however, I hope I could find him though.
My local Target price-matched the walmart.com site for me, so I got Slug and Scorn for $10/each there.
Remember this come October/November when they're back to $20. Summer is slower sales thus lower prices.
Picked up my sorta maybes last night for under $20 got Skywarp and Armada Starscream. I was going to get the Scorn but it seems if the store has IDW deluxes they don't have movie stuff and vice versa, I think I might skip the movie stuff like I said I would just to have money for everything else.
And this is the reason why I'm thinking I might hold off on buying a lot of the figures. Lie low while the movie is out and everyone is blitzing the shelves for figures (though I will grab my Evasion Prime fast) and then wait for everything to get clearanced out, or at least stick to the lower prices. Eh, who am I kidding, I'll probably get them at retail.
Are you new to TF collecting or something? Stores always have even LOWER prices during the holidays so people buy more. I wouldn't have thought they would have gone down to $10 now, but if they're $10 now, they'll probably be $10 everywhere during Christmas, not more. It has nothing to do with summer being slower, they'd raise prices in that case, so they made more money on the ones they do sell. It's like you don't even retail, let alone collect Transformers. Furthermore, where the hell are you buying $20 deluxes from? The moon? They're $15 tops.
yup. I love amazon during Christmas time... Last year i got the Chinese version of Ultimate prime (the one where the trailer becomes Armor for optimus) for like $24 ish... And the flying Optimus with gatling cannons the year before for $25 ish.... Love those clearance sales....
And as soon as all the stock has been wiped out it's time for all the stupid dickhead A-hole parasite bastards to jack the prices up. The worst part of TF collecting. It's never about the toys, it's about jacking all the prices up & ripping everybody off ASAP.
One better would be to get a 10% off Target coupon, get them to price match Walmart, use the coupon, then use your Target red card for addt'l 5% off, you should get deluxes for under $9 with tax. Cant beat that!
