Had to make the arduous trek to Lakewood to help a relative with something, and stopped at their Target. Winner Winner Tiny Turbo Series 2 Dinner--well almost, no Cracker/"Bluescreams" and somehow the Chopter I grabbed transformed into a second Berserker when I opened it.
Anybody wants a tiny psycho 'Con police SUV, find me some air support and I'll trade straight across.
Checked every TGT, WM and TRU along the way back out to the underground bunker (rel was driving this leg, no more bus-hopping and waiting) but all were dry holes. Still no Skully for ya, Keith.
Tacoma be havin thangs. Well, did you pull the trigger? lol
Seriously bro, just order it. It's not worth it. Fuck hasbros shitty ass distribution. Not sure if they are playing games, wanting to run tfs into the ground or just str8 up dumbass.
Lol, well if you can even order it yet. How long has wave1 and the movie been out now?
Moving from Oregon to Washington and going from no sales tax to 9% tax is killing me, man. I had to leave him on the shelf.
Don't you have your Oregon Id still?
They hole-punched it, plus they'd have to scan it for validity.
Hasbro doesn't do so good on even Direct distro--we never saw the Star Wars Micro Machines Wave 6 blind backs anywhere, yet they still yurn up on the Bay.
I only have two more TTC's to run down to complete Series 2, one of which was IN MY HAND at one point, so a complete case-lot even if they offered it would be negligible return-on-investment unless I immediately listed most of the case on Junkion.
Ahhhh bummer! I feel you tho. I moved from pdx to couv area because
@Diamondback ... you check out the star wars store by clackamas mall? I bet they have those blind bags. He keeps his current line stuff at retail
@Chillyn, I'm in the Puget Sound area--Portland is "a bridge too far" when you don't drive and are chained down by near-invalid family. Just getting to Lakewood yesterday was a Mind Boggling PITA of several hours on buses...
Oh bummer. Sorry I thought you were in pdx
Happens, bro. I have to be vague about location because I have an Asswipe Stalker out there I inherited from my ex. (We actually met because she hired me as Executive Protection to run interference against him--went down kinda like the movie The Bodyguard, except that from that point nobody got hurt other than me having my heart handed to me on a plate. But everybody, even the threat thanks to him taking my Deterrence strategy as seriously as it was meant, walked away alive so I call that a win. )
That sucks man, sorry to hear that
Could be worse... it has an upside in that when the benchmark is "any day I don't have to drag iron is a good day," it makes you have a lot more good days (actually, virtually no BAD ones ) and appreciate little things a lot more.
On the one hand, he really hasn't tried much after I taught him about Mutual Assured Destruction, but on the other prudence demands I keep an eye out just in case he decides he no longer has anything worth losing. So if at times I seem paranoid... well, is it really paranoia when somebody really IS Out To Get You?
One Titans Return Leader Soundwave for $21 left at the Tumwater Walmart.
Haha, ever since you gave me that walmart link I haven't seen him anywhere
There were THREE on the shelf when I found that link. But of course that store no longer price-matches. They replaced their "price match" with "every day low prices and discounts on in-store pickup items". Or else you could bet your bottom dollar that I'd be swimming in those Soundwaves.
I mean, I bought him once, didn't like him, sold him off, but at $21, I'll give him another shot.
Well, the rumblings around my area is--this is from a TRU clerk--Wave 1 is shelfwarming so bad we'll be lucky to see much of any Wave 2 in this backwater, and that's the full spectrum between Target, TRU and Walbarf.
I managed to get back to Lakewood today and even little TTC Chopter was gone... which makes me start to think that what I've managed to get might be all I'm gonna get. That or, since my local Targets have full cases of Series 1 shelfwarming, if they have anything new in backstock they're sitting on it, holding it hostage until somebody buys the deadstock up front.
TRU doesn't even seem to be getting Mission To Cybertron beyond the Optimus two-pack... so it's starting to look like Keith's odds of bagging Skullitron are not good unless something spectacular happens.
Anybody having better luck anywhere else out there, maybe around Renton, Tukwila or Downtown Seattle?
I saw Skullitron and the Megatron at TRU like 2 weeks ago. Sorry, but I didn't think anyone cared.
I have a TTC Chopter if you're still looking for one.
I assume it's a bit too far south, but there are plenty of Skullitrons at the Olympia TRU.
