because im going to see it
The critics lied. See it with no worries.
It was awesome, best in the series, really can't see where the critics are coming from on this one....
Critics are not TF fans...just read the Front Page review from TFW2005!
As well as the 'Just watched' thread.
It really doesn't matter what anyone else says. So X amount of people will hate it and X amount will love it, you're the only one that can make up your own mind. There's no bad or good really, it's up to the individual.
Example? I've seen quite a lot of "best of the 3!" sentiment and I didn't end up enjoying it. I would have really liked walking away happy, but I sadly could not. Movies are for entertainment though, so it's fine by me if anyone likes it. I hope some of you more aggressive guys will offer the same tolerance to those of us who can't share your enthusiasm.
HELL NO! screw critics
Not even close. I'm really wondering what the deal is here, are they that afraid of eating crow?
Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 36%
Oh yeah....it MUST be the critics that're wrong. LOL.
It was horrid. But really make up your own mind about seeing a movie, that's why you were created to choose on ur own freewill.
For them, yes. But probably not for you, considering you are a member of a Transformers site.
I suggest you only heed the advice of critics that share your personal tastes. Sure, it involves research beyond the scope that many people could be bothered doing, but it does give certainty to their judgement.
Expecting a critic to automatically share your taste in movies is a fast track to frustration and confusion. No one has the ability to be completely subjective, and in the case of criticism; it makes for a pretty dry review anyway.
I liked ROTF but I never cried or even got close to crying, I cried a couple times in DOTM.
Wow. Just WOW. You'd probably kill urself after watching Blue Valentine.
TF3 is par for the course it inherits the strengths and weaknesses of the director and storytellers. That is the simplest way to put it. The story is setup very well but really sags at the finale. The biggest let dowsn is how 9 autobots and a bunch of humans can end a full scale decepticon invasion so EASILY.
Also Megatron and Shockwave are big disappointments, Shockwave is basically undone by a parachute and Megatron's only real contribution is to get killed by Prime without a fight.
The Dreads chase scene on the freeway is stunning as is much of the action.
Bay & Co just can't handle consistency of storytelling. I simply can't understand within the confines of the plot how the Autobots fled Cybertron by being overmatched yet that same force is overcome so easily on earth.
The critics probably wanted something like acting or some shit like that, and apparently "oh no that wasn't really gay sex" jokes don't count towards acting. Whatever. There won't be a better movie this summer. It was great.
Ok Troll, get lost, I just got home from an IMAX 3D showing, the movie was awesome, better than 1 and 2, very dark, they made you care about the autobots this time, I think the Critics have the so called racist twins in their minds, and they are being prejudice against this movie, that and most of them hate bay for some reason, hence the fact that the first transformers did not win an oscar for special effects. speaking of Oscars, there is no way in hell any other movie should win the special effects Oscar ahead of Dark of the Moon, No way, if they do it's fixed.
critics were WRONG
It was an awful terrible mess. Too many humans (again) too much screentime dediated to unnecessary plot fleshing. Bastardisation of TF characters (please tell me why Megatron was some kind of outsider with very little airtime or even ROLE in the last two films?)
I wrote a review of it in one of the other threads 'cos of my nerd rage.
And let's see...right next to that we have a 90% from the AUDIENCE. Your turn.
