Well I finally Got G1 Jetfire for $50:rock  and i'm very happy I have one know but I have just one question. Was it a good deal? First off most of the plastic is yellowed an some of the armor is broken (which I repaired using some strong magnets.) the joints are all nice solid and tight. I would appreciate it if someone cand let me know how much it's worth thanks:)

Do you really have to go asking if it was a good deal? If you're happy with the figure for the price you payed, that's the end of story. There's no exact monetary value for a repaired, slightly yellowed G1 Jetfire that we can look up and tell you about.

i suppose if you clean the yellow (there's a tutorial for that here at TFW), then it seems like i a great deal.
i paid $225 for a MIB one years ago when i was noobish, not realizing they can be bargains in the right places.

$50 doesn't seem unreasonable for it, might struggle to get more than that as your method of repair would turn some collectors off.

Two of armor peices had broken tabs so I found locations inside of Jetfire where I could insert some powerful magnets. after that I put magnets inside of the armor and now the repaird armor stays on better than the old ones.

Consider that you can clean the yellow AND you got the armor bits. I have a Bandai re-release of the mold in Hikaru colors (similar, but not identical to Jetfire's colors), I bought it for $80 two years ago. $50 is a great deal on that figure.

I found that when it comes to Ebay deals, or buying from another board member, I win some and lose some. But if you are happy with the price you paid knowing the issues with the figure then it's a good deal, no matter what anyone tells you.

i got mine mint white from a friend for 80 missing the gun clip, and a second one i sold that was basically in the same shape as yours (i think more yellow) missing the gunclip as well for 45, seeing as i paid 22 for just the gunclip this year, i say you got a great deal
